This restaurant is one of the cheapest restaurants around town. It’s a chain restaurant and they have it in pretty much all the cosmopolitan areas in town. They serve one thing: noodles. of course they have variations but basically just noodles. I never really eat in, reason being, it seems a little too cozy for my liking and i can’t fully enjoy my meal here i don’t think, just because it is so busy and there are so many people. I usually get my take out. So they have tons of variations, from the traditional hor fun, rice noodes, mie seen, etc. It is so cheap, for a regular noodle with fish balls or what not, you’re paying $ 20 for a huge bowl of noodles. Their mie seen goes up a little bit, to about 25. HULLO! on a budget, here’s the place you can eat for the next two weeks. Trust me, I’ve done that before. Their mie seen has a much bigger variation, they have the sour cabbage, spicy sauce, and basically any condiments you like. I personally like their spring rolls. It’s not really the traditional deep fried spring rolls, it’s more like tofu skin wrapped with fish paste inside, fried then dunked in soup. it’s addictive, trust me. Good place for a quick bite, in and out, or takeout.

It has got to be one of the cheapest noodle places that serve one of the best food around Hong Kong. With the new design of its logo and the interior, it looks rather chic with the comic character and very Hong Kong style. This place is like one of those Cha Chang Tang which is sort of cramped and there is not much space between chairs. So be prepared for some bumping with other diners(welcome to Hong Kong!) With so many different restaurants here in Causeway bay, this place stands out when it comes to a quick meal and also at a very reasonable price. The choices of noodles here are rather typical, vermicelli, ho-fun, rice noodles, etc. As for the toppings, as you expected, they have all kinds, fish balls, octopus balls, pork intestines, chicken wings. Basically everything within expectation. If you love spice, you may put hot chili in your soup but mind you a drop of it can make a huge difference already. If you do not like spring onion, please tell them beforehand, for me, it would not be Chinese noodles without it. Anyways, may I add one must-try dish is definitely the signature spring rolls. The skin is very thin and nicely wrapped so it does not fall apart. And all in all, the entire meal cost me less than HKD$ 50. AMAZING. Although there have been quite a few branches around Hong Kong nowadays, I do believe places like this need to open up more so that we do not end up spend a hundred on lunch in the future.
