We came on a Friday night, and the staff to patron ratio was 2:1.5(it was well-staffed). There was an impressive selection of shellfish from the U.S., France, Australia, and beyond. A few nice brews on tap, and whites to pair with your shells. As for oysters, try the La Boîte a Bijoux. The fries are double fried… probably some of the best fries this side of the Pacific. Get some to wash down your 1664 Blanc.

I went there on a friday night, comletely full house. Oysters were very fresh. Food was great, espically the potato cake with cream inside was really yummy. Service was very good and polite. The only problem is the ciling is low on the upper floor. There were a group of people arrived after us, and the whole floor became sooooo loud. A few couples left or went downstairs because of the noise. For couples who want a quiet dinner, probably book a table downstairs. :)

I really want to like this place as I live in the neighborhood. I came during opening weekend and then again over a month later. The same problems continue to exist. The food is fantastic and variety of oysters is extensive. But, you order and it takes over an hour for your drinks to come. The order volume is too high and they don’t have enough people to shuck oysters and cook the hot items. The owners and waiters are friendly, but if they want to succeed, they need a better management system. As I sat, two people who booked a table left because the staff was too busy to even speak to them for over 15 minutes.
