Well actually it’s pretty decent, especially if compared to the local dismal offerings. There’s really not much of a choice in this city of 7 million, which is more populated than most American cities, particularly those which are craft brew hubs. The IPA and stout are worth the trudge through crazy traffic and overhead bridges from the nearest subway at Wanchai, although you could use the buses or trams to half your sojourn, but it’s a nightmare if you don’t speak Cantonese, because you can’t get a cab during those prime drinking hours! They claim to be a traditional English pub, but the truth is their fare is more western cosmopolitan, and they seem to have a pretty good list of steaks. Unlike most brewpubs in the US, they also offer other beers besides their own. The main dining area is rather cramped, but worry not, as they have what looks like nice leather armchairs, but on the weekends it gets pretty packed, so I guess you have to book in advance if you want to sit comfortably, unlike me who got stuck at the bar counter with faux leather barstools.

Just went for a quick bite to eat and a drink. Overall not bad. Had the chicken schnitzel and my friend had the burger and we both enjoyed it Good range of ciders and beers Good value for money
