Ah aldos, my childhood Friday nights, the bathroom emergencies of my youth, soaking up the damage of teenage nights, yes aldos. What more can you want for a chipper? Their chips are as chipper chips should be, crispy but thick. They serve all you could want in a chipper and great hotdogs and pizzas too! On top of this, there actually is a strangely nice atmosphere in this place(although that might be the nostalgia). A family run place, with seats facing out into the village so that you can people watch and honestly even I you’re waiting in line, I find there’s something always quite comforting about being there.

Great chipper. I always get it delivered. The food is great and travels well unlike most other chippers. The drivers are the nicest lads. One of them helped me catch my dog when he ran out when I opened the door. Another helped me jump start my car so I could collect the kids

This chipper is nice but I’ve had nicer I feel this chipper is excessively priced compared to other chippers near by in my opinion they should do meal deals all day not just during lunch but still not a bad quality chipper

I’ve been going to this chipper for years and years. I have to say I love their cheese burgers the most. I think I ordered 3 a long time ago and ate them all along with their tasty chips. It has been consistent in taste through the years. Just an all round good chipper!

This is one of the most consistently fantastic chippers I have ever eaten from. Their chips are delicious, and as for the battered sausages… YUM. I would travel a great distance to buy from here. The staff are really friendly. One night The owner even advised me that«chips don’t travel well» I was bringing a few bags of chips to my daughter and and her friend who had been out in Dundrum for the night. The chips were STILL delicious when I met them and they were even more delicious by the time I dropped her friend BACK to Cabinteely. I proved that Aldo’s chips do travel well ! Well done Aldo’s. You are a credit to the world of chippers. You almost take the guilt factor out of fast food.
