Very cute little spot to sit and watch the world go by. Amir is a lovely man and is very accommodating. This is a classic shisha bar with some gorgeous Turkish sweets to nibble on while you puff. There’s no alcohol but he also does good tea and coffee. He sells two types of shisha, one with nicotene and one without. If you’re smoking the one with nicotene, you have to sit out in the tented area out the front. He’s got some heaters out there though and it’s a kinda nice feeling to be sitting outside but in, watching shoppers run by. We need more of these alternatives to pubs in Dublin!

Love this little place. Why? Well apart from the modest and fabulous North African décor… I love the peaceful atmosphere in the place. Lately everytime I go into a franchise coffee shop the noise and hectic bustle drives me nuts. If you need to chill from chaotic shops or meet friends and would like to actually hear them speak this is the place to go. The flavoured teas are delicious and the tea pots are absolutely class.

It’s almost always deserted so it’s a quiet place to smoke some shisha and have some coffee or tea. I like it this way, i just hope it doesn’t go out of business. The owner is very nice.
Try the sweets!
You can buy tajines, shisha pipes and tobacco here, though it’s a bit overpriced and you can probably buy these from a middle eastern market somewhere else in Dublin (for instance, on Moore Street).

Stopped by here on my way home from a meal on Capel St for an after-​dinner coffee. The place was deserted, apart from the owner, who warmly welcomed us.
I ordered a Turkish coffee, and my other half chose a mint tea — both come with a selection of Tunisian sweets. Presentation was fantastic, and the coffee was as strong and rich as you’d expect. What really set it apart was the addition of orange-​flower water, on the recommendation of the owner. It removed the bitter edge, presenting a truly unique taste.
My girlfriend was impressed by her pot of tea (with real mint leaves). Though she’s not a coffee drinker, she was also keen to try the coffee next time around.
For Dublin’s coffee lovers, it’s a breath of fresh air — not only from the chains of Starbucks and Costs, but also from the many Italian-​style espresso shops. Perhaps not a coffee to have every day, but certainly recommended if you’re looking for something a little different.

Hidden gem in the middle of Dublin, this spot is one of a kind. You can come in and enjoy a little puff of the hookah and some Turkish coffee. They have a wide variety of teas that add a soothing aroma to the café as you walk in.
This place is also a great value. € 5 for a cup of tea or Turkish coffee with 3 sweets of your choice. All of the Turkish delights are authentic and yummy. The pistachio baklava was one of my favorites. It’s warm and intimate, great place to go with a friend to catch up.

Hooray for peach tea, Tunisian baklava, and a lovely little sheltered porch to sit on – even if it’s raining.
They have a special of € 5.75 where you pick about 8 different pieces of baklava and other candies off the counter. I recommend the powdered sugar ones, the pistachio baklava, and the one that looks like Divinity. The server (owner?) was extremely nice and patient as I asked what was in every single dessert. They have a selection of herbal teas too. I haven’t tried the hookah but maybe next time. Everybody else seemed to think it was grand.

I lived in Tunisia for awhile, and it was a real treat to stumble on this place as I was walking from the Red Line Luas to the Green Line Luas this afternoon.
I had an engaging chat about Tunisian cooking, a LOVELY cup of tea (yes, they serve it with pine nuts if you want), and a couple of tasty tunisian treats on the side. Lots of Tunisian specialty items available for purchase as well. I’ll be back for a tin of harissa.
It’s a gorgeous little slice o’ the Maghreb on the northside, and for those who enjoy hookahs they seemed to have a great selection.
Bottom Line. Not THAT kind of hookah, for THAT kind of hookah ya gotta go a few blocks oveh theah!

One of many things the Tunisians have mastered to perfection, it’s how to make sweet mouth-​watering pastries to go with a cup of strong Moorish coffee.
Here you can rest your legs in a cosy setting, browse through the books for sale and enjoy your treats while smoking some apple chicha and let your mind wander to North Africa.
This is one of those must-​have coffeehouses introducing new coffee cultures to Dublin, and for that (and the super-​strong cup), Amir’s is a true delight.

How utter luxurious for a corner café!
Amir’s Delights really lives up to its name — sumptuous Turkish sweets, rich moorish coffees, authentic tagine and hookah; all things we’d call exotic but are really every day delights for this shop’s loyal North African and Tunisian customer base. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to see something so new right here in the city centre. In a district packed with chain sandwich bars and mass-​market coffee shops, Amir’s is bonafide original experience.
Love that ornate décor? Take it home! The tables and cushions on the café floor are all for sale. Amir’s also sells Tunisian furniture, art and a few groceries (orange peel and rose petal water? yes please!). Skip your daily dose of Starbucks and relax here for an unexpected (and yes, delightful) experience.

This is a Moorish Café on Blooms lane otherwise known as the Italian quarter not that it even constitutes a quarter more like an tenth.
Really great spot, I’m thrilled that we have a place like this in the city. I am a big fan of the hookah and some tea, it’s a lovely way to spend time with friends. They do Turkish coffee but I played it safe and had some mint tea, very refreshing.
They also have authentic sweet stuffs from the region, I honestly can’t remember the name of the thing I ate but it was small, sweet, shiny and yummy. All I do remember is it’s a wonderful place and they open at 7am till late everyday.
