This place is an old-​style grocers, and I’ve become so fed up with the Tescos of this world that I would rather spend my money in this small owner-​run type place, especially when the prices are often cheaper. The owner is a lovely man who gives change from his own pocket and has small change stacked up in piles inside his little office. I just got a punnet of strawberries for a euro, so I’m happy for the day.

This is an open warehouse style grocerry store. It’s got all the fruit and vegetable basics and the prices are cheap, seriously cheap. Think Moore Street prices with a roof and no,
‘Get yer apples ere luv.‘
You can get a basket of peaches for instance for € 1… Beat that!
