Irish Couture is an all Irish designer ladies fashion boutique. We are located in the beautiful Georgian house in Dublin City Centre called Powerscourt Townhouse. Powerscourt Townhouse is steeped in history, and located in the old dress-​making district of Dublin. We are perched up on the top floor, where we have a light filled shop displaying the most beautiful of Irish design. We stock silk shirts, blouses, cashmere and lambswool knitwear, mother-​of-​the-​bride attire, rainwear, coats & jackets, bags, belts, hats and plenty of quirky pieces!

Business Owner

Louise Rawlins set up her own fashion business and launched her first collection in December 2012. Here we are in December 2013, only 12 short months later, and she now has two fashion labels to her name and her own shop, Irish Couture, in Powerscourt Town Centre in Dublin City! Louise started the year out by spending two months at Harris Agencies with Edward and Nicky Harris in Fashion City. She gained extensive knowledge and experience while working with them. Here they introduced her to many famous names and also many boutique owners from all over Ireland. Louise styled Charlie Murphy, of LOVE/​HATE fame for the IFTA’s, designed and styled Claire Byrne, an RTE presenter, for the VIP Awards and designed and styled Mairead Farrell’s outfit for the Royal Ascot. While the demand was growing for Louise’s styling, and bespoke orders were flying out the door, the time came to open her own flagship store… and Irish Couture was born on the 3^rd of July 2013!
