Yay I love New Look! its one of the redeemers from a terrible selection in Tallaght. This is the one i usually end up in because there is no new look in town or in dundrum so you have to go further afield to get here so when i do go i usually stock up on a few things. They are always totally in with the upcoming fashions and they supply everything really cheaply which is good when your always trying to keep up with the catwalks. they also do good staple like jeans and coloured jumpers and plain t shirts and the like. The shoe section, oh the lovely beautiful shoes. there are so so many, there is no other clothes shops that do this many shoes in so many colours and heel sizes. they also do larger sizes than normal for all the big footed ladies out there. Cant wait to go back to new look now, just writing about it is making me want to tackle the snow to have a look at what they have to offer!

New Look is a chain with little saturation in Dublin, and is currently only present in a couple of the satellite suburban shopping centres, and has no flagship store in the city centre. I really like this particular New Look. OK the clothes won’t last forever but they cost just a few euro so that doesn’t matter. New Look primarily stock trend fashion items but also do a good few staples as well like jeans, trousers and coats. So even though you might not like the fashion of the moment you can usually find something worth buying there once you are prepared to have a good root. Unlike a lot of high-street fashion stores they also stock other ranges such as plus sizes, tall and maternity as well as underwear, accessories and shoes of every colour. It’s hard not to be mesmerised by all the pretty coloured shoes! New Look not only have cheap clothes to begin with, but you can get quite the bargain in the sales — just be sure the item isn’t on sale because it could only fit a cat that had grown two arms. New Look usually has a 10% student discount, but this particular store often runs a 20% student discount, which makes clothes shopping almost like saving money!

I find the clothes in New Look terribly cheap looking and ill fitting. Always too big in the waist and tight on the arse and thighs, although that might just be me blaming the clothes and not my chocolate addiction. The clothes are also really juvenile with crap teenage graphics and prints and slogans. But what I will say is that they have a good selection of shoes, under ware, jewellery and a plus size collection and their sales are usually good.
