Double espresso for € 1.50 — yes please! Really great coffee and at great prices. Great welcome addition to Ranelagh.

Could not love Nicks any more. The coffee is so reasonable, so delicious, the staff are friendly and very good at dealings with the large crowds that often end up queuing up outside for a cup of coffee at anytime of the day. There is a surprisingly large choice of coffees given the tiny size of the shop itself, and I’ve never not enjoyed my cup of coffee, or the simple experience down there. Another great perk that they offer is their bags of roasted coffee beans(sweet espresso is fantastic) which you get a free coffee with when you buy two!

Superb flat white, and the flapjacks are delicious. The raspberry brownie is a winner too and is usually gone by the time I get there. Great coffee at a great price. Nice gang running the show. Free coffee for 65+

Grabbed a large cappuccino earlier today, first time, and it was absolutely spot on! Proper coffee to milk ratio and price was very right too. I’ll be back! My local is 3fe I rate it high(#1) tho expensive for a small cup it’s good to sit down and relax. Nick’s is handy for coffee on the go or coffee for the park as there’s not much of a sit down area but non the less very impressed! Will be back! It’s my #2!

This is a great little spot to get your coffee in the morning on the way into Ranelagh. The coffee is delicious and the price is right! I love this little place.

Officially my favourite coffee in Dublin. My husband and I often drive to Ranelagh before work just to get our coffees there. You might miss the place if you are not looking for it however the queue at the door might be a good hint. The coffee is great, the price is right and the 7th cup is free with the fidelity card.

This little gem is more of a community service than a business! Great coffee made by friendly interesting people. Nick is a lovely guy who has brought a lot to Ranelagh by opening his venture.

If your a fan of the Latte then you’l love nicks as they always get the milk just perfect — silky smooth with no soapy foam! These guys just keep it simple and stick to what they are really good at(coffee!).

Only been once. Said to the lad working I hear you have great coffee I have come to try it. He said ok as its your first time your coffee is free. In my top 5 coffee’s(had a flat white) in Dublin this year. I will be back. Well done Nick.

The tiniest little coffee shack with only a few outdoor seats. Its very much a coffee on the go type place. I’ve never gotten a coffee and stayed. I’ve always just walked here to get coffee, and then drink the coffee on my way back to where ever I came from. The coffee is good, the price is reasonable, and the staff are friendly. I’d like to see a few muffins, but I may be alone in that request.

Super little coffee bar here and lovely man behind the counter. I ordered a double macchiato, which was 1.50EUR and unfortunately all I had was a 50EUR(silly ATMs) to which Nick didn’t have the change for. He offered me the coffee anyway and said to come back in again with the money. How nice! Complete trust of a stranger by him. Of course I immediately went to the nearest shop to break the fifty and then paid for my coffee a few mins later. Recommended, I will pop in again next time I’m passing.

I love this place! The coffees are the perfect size for me(though I can see how if you’re used to the big chains they might seem a little small), always taste great, and are excellently priced! The fact that I can get my coffee for € 2 right across from my LUAS stop, and support a local business at the same time is brilliant, and this place is a staple of any trip into the city centre.

Happened upon here the other day when I was exploring Ranelagh. Cute little Kiosk beside the Superquinn. I ordered the flat white and thought it had great flavor and was reasonably priced. This place is a must if you are in the area and prefer to steer clear of chain cafes.

I love Nick. I don’t know Nick, but I love Nick. I’ve only been here twice(so far), but each time I’ve stumbled upon him when I most needed a wee pick me up, and picked me up he did(in a hot beverage sort of way.) Friday night was cultural night, and I asked him if he did Hot chocolates. I had my choice between Equadorian Dark chocolate, or Madagascan Milk. I went for the Dark chocolate, and it was probably the best I have ever had. Absolutely perfect. He was the loveliest, and after sprinkling a little on top for good measure– he said that he’d decided to do a special deal on account of it being cuture night, and this large cup of heavenly goodness would cost but a trifling € 2. Legend.

Fantastic use of a small space. Really handy right on the main street in Ranelagh beside Superquinn. It’d be great to see the Ranelagh Village Market but I doubt that will happen. Can’t fault the place. Always get a good buzz out of the staff, the coffee’s great and you often end up chatting to people in the seated area. What a local coffee shop should be.

Good things do come in small packages. Nick’s is just a tiny little kiosk, but serve a great cappuccino. Very friendly staff and a great addition to the Ranelagh community. This is the type of place that after you try it, it’s hard not to stop in every time you pass.

Well you could not swing a cat in here nor should you ever swing a cat anywhere as that is not cool. My mother’s country sayings have been impressed upon me since childhood, such as «sure he is as queer as two left shoes.» Indeed. So far I have offended animal rights folks and gay rights folks — my Mam is actually really nice and liberal and loves animals and gay folk. Golly I go on a tangent sometimes. So yup this place is tiny. There is just enough room for you and Nick to make your coffee transaction. A lady came in whilst I was waiting for my coffee and there was a lot of uncomfortable body touching and, «Sorry.» “Sorry.” “Excuse me can I just get by you.” «God I am so sorry.» «No you’re grand I am sorry.» «Very sorry.» So the coffee is good! He is obviously passionate about his craft and for such a small place he has crammed a lot of bean variety in there. He also appears to have a loyal following and I love the local friendliness of it. There is a table outside and he has pastries too. Yay! I’m a fan!

This coffee outlet is very neatly positioned beside the main entrance to Ranelagh Village Market. Like the Italian eatery ‘Pinocchio’ situated directly opposite, the premises are nothing more than a booth, just like you find many drinks or confectionary booths beside or opposite other Luas or train stations/and or(in this instance) Ranelagh Village Market. Akin to if you were buying a cinema ticket or something similar, you purchase your hot drink of choice through a Perspex screen with a small opening where your money and drinks are passed through. This is certainly ostensibly speaking, an uncongenial mode of customer service but I can understand that in the context of a small company, the floorspace of which doesn’t extend beyond the size of a cubicle, being so exposed to the goings and comings of the main road does justify these safety measures being in place. Nick of ‘Nick’s Coffee Company’ is an absolute delight. It is a pleasure to be served by such a pleasant and polite man. As this is his own business he takes pride in his products ensuring you get served a delectable coffee or hot chocolate(all of excellent quality) of your choosing.
