My lunch time haunt. Why I like this place for lunch? Prompt service! Prompt service! Prompt service. Food is always fresh including the veg! They have a great selection of half portion dishes as well. Such a comfy pub with a lovely friendly atmosphere.

Neighborhood pub. Pints nice, food decent but be aware The kitchen closes at 9 PM sharp every night. No exceptions you cannot get any food after 9 PM. Sort if a drag during the World Cup since games started at 9pm. Staff was apologetic and friendly.

Friday evening 6pm. This pub is like a large sitting room, you get the vibe if you aren’t from the area the locals don’t know what to make of you. The clientele look bewildered and average in age of about a hundred. The audience of ‘Live at 3′ springs to mind
On the plus side they do nice pints, have very friendly staff and do pretty tasty food, a specials board have the deals of the day. Maybe they wont be so suspicious of me when I return!
