The view and setting is fab! Sure it’s basically on the beach, so, what more could you want!!! We went here for brunch on a fab sunny day!!! I had the French toast… Which wasn’t your typical French toast it was slightly different! It came with rocket and sundried tomatoes! Now I’m not a fussy eater but this just wasn’t the same French toast kind of thing that I’m used to!!! Soz for not being very European but come on what wrong with the crispy bacon, French toast and maple syrup!!! Keep it simple guys!!! Himself had the omelette and it was lovely! Perfectly cooked and no egg goo just how it should be!!! Served with lovely toasted bread and tea!!! Nice nice nice!!! It’s a lovely little spot if u fancy a nice lunch in malahide! Simples!!!

Has a lovely menu. Was delighted to hear they have gluten free bread. We ordered a tea and a cappuccino both of which were lovely. However, they arrived way before the food and were cold by the time food arrived. I ordered eggs benedict. It wasn’t great. The hollandaise sauce was very vinegary and my gluten free toast was really burnt. Pretty disappointing. Other meals looked lovely though. May be back to give it another try.

I’ve been here once and would never return! I ordered an avocado and prawn salad which was quite bad. The prawns were small and the avocado was as hard as a rock and totally inedible. It was so bad that I had to send the meal back and the waitress told me they didn’t have any ripe avocados(I rarely send meals back). A friend of mine had the bruschetta which was also very basic. The place is in a nice location opposite the beach but I wouldn’t be returning here for food!

I absolutely love the food fayre for brunch at the weekend!!! It’s located on the malahide to portmarnock road. Perfect spot if you are on a weekend stroll. The breakfasts are a gourmet healthy twist on the average breakfast. Not overpriced. I could literally sit there all day drinking tea in the arty armchairs surrounded by the neutral colours, chandeliers and sea views.

My fiancé’s brother’s gf’s sister or something who’s a nutritionist recommended this place. The location is lovely but the hump of grass blocks out the view of the water so don’t expect an ocean view. I ordered the sauv blanc which was nice to pair with my skewered prawn salad. The prawns were fresh and tasty and the salad was. Fresh and tasty. :) my future MIL and SIL ordered the chicken bruschetta which looked. You got it: fresh and tasty! My MIL said it was lovely and all of us had empty plates which is good! Their menu is simple and small consists of a quiche of the day, one hot special of the day, soup(of the day), a few salads, sammiches, and a couple hot sammiches… Blah blah you get the point. The interior is cute and quaint. The chairs are comfy just don’t wear anything that will run as it’s wicker. My SIL loves illy coffee so we ended with dessert and coffee which was(altogether now) fresh and tasty! I got the chocolate mousse which was decadent and so good with my frothy cappuccino. My companions ordered a fruit tart and chocolate torte which the both enjoyed. Now here’s my gripe: I REALLYREALLY dislike repeating myself when ordering. The staff here, albeit nice, are pretty inefficient and can barely speak English. I had such a difficult time ordering food… I think there’s a problem when you are scared to ask for a description of the food knowing you won’t understand them anyway. Big props for learning a new language but I don’t think it’s too much to expect that the staff will speak English… I know I sound horrible it’s just a pet peeve when I’m not in an ethnic restaurant. I just like to be able to communicate with my server. I definitely would revisit and can’t wait for them to serve dinner during the summer!

Recently opened in Malahide — this place was great. We stopped here on a Sunny Sunday during a mini-cycle & swim venture out to Malahide. Coffee was great, but the muffins were the star of the show. Lots of places do muffins these days, but these were fresh, homemade, and totally delicious. Thinking about them makes me want to go back, and I’m more on the savoury side of the house, as opposed to sweet. Try it.
