The Knox Hall is one of the most significant buildings in the centre of Monkstown. The building dates back for years, and sadly it looks it too…
The building is now used as an all purpose town hall. It is the voting centre for the locality, it is also used as a venue for local gigs and events, such as exhibitions and parish talks.
The The College of Dance uses the premises as a practice area since 2000.
The building itself breaths history however it badly needs a makeover. With enough effort the building could retain its amazing look but also provide a huge service to the community. As it stands it seems a little disused.
