Some interesting facts about Windows Fashions Ltd
1. They’re a family run business.
2. They custom make all of their curtains/​blinds in their own workroom.
3. It’s housed in a really cool building.
The building is really what caught my eye with this place. The art deco style hit me right away and I felt like I’d walked back in time. At the top of the building they’ve got the year it was erected, 1938. Upon further research I found out that the building was in fact an old cinema. So it’s quite interesting to see it in its most modern incarnation and then to imagine Emergency era Dublin residents going here to catch the latest film/​war news.
The architecture of the place aside, the shop has an impressive collection of window fashions and a wonderful, spacious showroom thanks to its former incarnation. Definitely worth a look if you’re remodeling the old house.
