Michelle who manages the centre kindly invited me here to give a talk all about the free business tools that Unilocal offers for business owners, I know that seems like a shameless plug but that is the reason I was invited as Unilocal is still a very new concept here, it’s important to educate businesses not to fear it but to embrace it. When I arrived Michelle led me to the training room and there was a class of 55+ folks leaving, it’s a computer class that centre runs and transition year students teach which is wonderful! They did a project a few months ago and I really enjoyed reading their stories that were framed around the room. The centre is very community focused and passionate about helping the local community learn new tools, network or implement programmes like the wonderful«I Love Terenure» campaign. It was wonderful for me to meet the businesses that gave me their time to explain a bit about what I do and how Unilocal can help them. Places like this are a true credit to the community and I think it’s terrific that they stay up to date with social media developments and they believe in making it accessible for all age groups. My goodness how many times can I say wonderful in one review?!
