Really surprised with this hotel. Got a deal on groupon for 139 bucks for 2 including a 3 course meal and use of the thermal suites. The rooms were lovely. Bigger than usual and the bathroom too. We had a balcony looking out to the fields which was a nice touch for our one summers day ahead. I found the staff delightful and very pleasant. I used the thermal suite which was nice and their spa facilities. I got a massage but it wasn’t as per the description in the brochure as expected and when I explained it to the staff, they reduced the price without question. These are the sort of customer service examples you want to see and why I have given it 5 stars. Only negative was the super hot restaurant but the music in the lounge later made up for it.

Attended a wedding here and stayed overnight. The whole day was perfectly, expertly organised and controlled by the staff. The food was gorgeous, décor, lighting, flowers etc were perfect. The beds and room were ideal, a perfect size and comfortable. The breakfast was huge and got a table straight away. It is in the middle of a housing estate so the drive up and view from the rooms at the front of the hotel could be a lot better if there were less houses

I was at a wedding here and I have to say the staff were excellent. Service was very quick and professional. However, the hotel itself wouldn’t be to my taste. Lunch in the bar is just ok, however, the evening menu is better. If there are a group staying here I would recommend booking one of the hotel houses, they are right by the hotel and are more affordable than staying in the hotel. A three bedroom house with four double and one single bed came to € 375 for two nights(you will have to pay € 10 for breakfast in the morning).

This was our last stop on our tour of Ireland. When you drive up to the Knightsbrook Hotel and Golf resort it looks like you are going through a subdivision of new townhouses but apparently some of those belong to the hotel. But don’t be dismayed because this place is super nice! First off, the chandelier in the lobby was enormous and gorgeous. I checked in and although they didn’t immediately have me down for 2 rooms, they got on the phone and figured it out immediately and got me a room separate from the parents. I gotta have some space! If you play golf, I suppose you will really love this place as it has a golf course attached(thus the name). But it also has a spa for those that don’t golf. And it is a short enough stroll into Trim if you want to get out and about. The room had a huge king bed, TV, coffee/tea, hairdryer, and a roomy bathroom. The wifi was free both in the lobby and the room. I like! The bed was super comfortable too… so comfortable I didn’t want to get up for that early wake up call to get to the airport. After we checked in we decided to eat in the lounge area as it was already getting kind of late and they had a bar food type menu. The lounge area has a nice outdoor terrace attached. I could see this being the jam for weddings as it was very pretty out there. I had a burger and fries — pretty standard, and the skinny fries were great. The hotel staff are super efficient and on top of their game. They set up a special continental breakfast for us at 0615 since we had to leave before the official breakfast began. So we come into the lobby and a little spread was set out for us with yogurt, coffee, tea, juice, and the guy brought us some toast. Nice touch to specially set this up for us. Overall great place and I wish we could have stayed in the hotel longer and explored more!

I stayed 4 nights at the Knightsbrook townhomes. They were every spacious and had plenty of room for the six of us. The kitchen was well laid out but the microwave was not working right and the washing machine was very load. Although I found the hotel nice overall it did fall down on a few points. The first was Wifi. It’s only available in the lobby and it’s incredibly slow. Also as children are banned from most parts of the hotel after 7 they tend to congregate in the lobby area making it very noisey. They do have a games room for the kids which I took mine to for a total of 5 mins. It was a joke. If your going to have families staying you need to think about the kids more. Not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Needs to be brought up to speed for the modern traveler. Other than that it was a nice place to stay. Issues are easy to fix with a bit of thought and investment.

Attended a wedding here recently and I was really impressed. The drive up to the hotel isnt amazing becuase you have to go through a housing estate but the hotel itself is gorgeous. We stayed in the junior suite the night before and whatever we requested for room service was brought up to us with great service and really friendly staff. Same as the next day, everything was catered for to perfection. The breakfast is gorgeous… hearty full irish or great continental selection. It was a really special day and knightbrook really looked after us(well into the early hours)!

I attended a wedding here recently. At first on my way in to the hotel I had to drive through a large modern housing estate so I was a little bit sceptical. When we reached the hotel at the end of the estate and went inside, I was quickly impressed by the large open reception. The staff were very friendly and the room was lovely and spacious with a view of the golf course. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a decent buffet. I would have liked to have stayed another night!

I really love this hotel. It is close to home, it has a brilliant golf course, swimming pool and a separate spa. The décor is modern and plush, the food in the restaurant was delicious and the drinks from the bar were top notch. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall I would really recommend this hotel.
