Great choice, considering there aren’t a lot of excellent restaurants to choose from in Capri. Located a short walk off the main road, Panorama is a great choice for a romantic meal with seafood and wine. The ravioli caprese is excellent. My husband enjoyed his baked snapper. My mixed seafood platter was good, but the shrimp wasn’t fresh. The tiramisu was my least favorite tiramisu from my entire trip through Italy(I’ve had about a half dozen in the last week!) – it wasn’t sweet enough and had too much alcohol for my taste. The view is spectacular, with a great view from anywhere in the restaurant.

The margarita pizza rivals any you’ll find in Naples and the spaghetti pomodoro will inevitably be one of the freshest and most delicious dishes you savor on your coastal vacation. There’s a petite garden on the property that you can see staff picking from for your meal. Doesn’t really get any fresher than that! And oh my lord were the tomatoes delicious! But the view?! Absolutely breath taking. Something postcards are made of.

Went here for our last dinner in Capri. View is amazing and well worth it. We got there right when the restaurant opened and got seated right away. Service was absolutely fantastic. You can tell that they really want to leave a good impression. The restaurant is pretty new and has much more modern décor than other places in Capri. I wanted to try two pastas and mentioned to the waiter that I couldn’t decide which one so he said why don’t I bring out a little bit of both for the same price. The gnocchi was pretty good but I liked the ravioli better. Simply awesome. Wife got a fish which she said was one of the best and most fresh fish that she has had. All in all, a great dining experience. This was the most expensive meal that we had in Italy but probably will be one of the most memorable as well.

We were in Capri for just three hours and after walking around, stumbled upon this restaurant. The ambiance is great as its mostly situated outside on a terrace. The views were amazing and we were lucky enough to get a table right by the edge. The food proved to be just ok. Being in Capri I wanted to have an authentic Caprese salad. What I got was an unripe tomato with rubbery mozzarella. What?!! I make a better Caprese at home in the states. Disappointing to say the least. Especially because there is so much amazing and fresh, melt in your mouth mozzarella here. Unacceptable! We split a pizza margherita. It was really good and had a great flavor from the wood oven. When the check came and we asked about the 6 euro mystery charge, we were told it was for the view. Alrighty then.

Only 300 meters from the center of Capri, Panorama manages to stay off the beaten path. The name is a perfect description of the beautiful views and the only thing better than the picturesque Marina Grande is the food. Definitely a spot to get a great meal.

We had two amazing lunches at Panorama in Capri. I asked a local shopkeeper for a good recommendation, and she sent me here. It was a fantastic recommendation. The view is spectacular, but that is easy to find in Capri. The setting is tranquil, away from the crowds, which is a bit harder to find, especially in the high tourist season. But the food truly distinguishes Pnorama. I am food obsessed, and this is my tenth trip to Italy. This easily ranks among the top few meals we have ever had. Quality, simple ingredients are the stars of each plate. The bread is homemade by the pizza chef each day, and served with a delicious artisanal olive oil. The octopus salad was fresh, tender and flavorful. The bresaola was super high quality. My Spaghetti Sciue Sciue was phenomenal. Just olive oil briefly kissed by a garlic clove, cherry tomatoes and fresh basil. The tomatoes and basil were grown in the vegetable garden right next to the tables. My son, who insisted on ordering french fries, declared them the best he has had in Italy. We wound up going back the next day for lunch again! It was just as delicious, and the spaghetti and clam sauce was superb. The owner, Luciano, is gracious and the waiter, Michele, was superb, and very knowledgeable. Strongly recommend.

Incredible seafood risotto. Exquisite grilled squid. Waiters a bit overly friendly. Views to the north of Sorrento, Naples, Ischia and up to Capri Town’s clock tower. Everything — the bar, the kitchen, is very modern. Vegetable garden has impressive tomatoes, squash.
