Faccio il review in inglese perché è più facile per me.
I’ve been going to guru for years for I cannot find a sushi place this innovative anywhere else in Rome. A few years ago it was better. I think that Tuna is not only becoming harder to find but also much more expensive so the variety of fish isn’t as great as it used to be. However, they have compensated by inventing new fusion rolls that are always amazing! My favorite is an «old one» and it’s a salmon with cream cheese slightly fried with a sliced strawberry and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar on top! Mmmmmm!
The ambiance can vary. At times people can be obnoxious and stuck up (speaking of the patrons). There are cool «beds» to eat on which if you are not in the right outfit (like short skirts/​dresses) it can be uncomfortable. Therefore sit at a table.
The waiters are wonderful people! Especially Sammy and billy Joel. (Yeah, not THAT billy Joel clearly). Great attention. Great food. Even though it was much better in the past!
