I had my «final supper» here before flying home from Italy, and it did not disappoint! It was one of the only restaurants near my guest house in Fiumicino, but I also got the best vibe from the owners. I got here at 7:30 pm, when it opened, and I was the only diner. However, I get the impression that this area caters specifically to airport travelers and definitely has a «time of year» that is busier than others(probably summer). Nevertheless, the owners treated me like gold and made sure that I liked everything. Not much English spoken here(good thing I speak Italian!), but super nice and attentive to my every need. I got a basket of bread(delicious), pasta pici e cacio with gamberi(crayfish), and millefoglie for dessert(amazing). The pasta was a bit on the lemony/limey side, but I’m guessing that’s a nice touch if you’re into seafood(which I’m not so much). Otherwise, the dish was very good. The millefoglie was dusted with powdered sugar and served with warmed fruits of the season(some type of berry that I could not identify but was really tasty). Prices are a little steep, but the menu is 100% seafood-based, so it makes sense. I hope that this little place gets tons of business during the summer months, because the owners are just so lovely!
