Think I paid the tourist price of 8.5 € for two café American and a pastry. Decent, but just up on the next alley there is a nicer place with much better pastries and cheaper. Keep walking

One of the better coffee shops in the area. They use a good brand of coffee(I can’t remember it now, but I’ll edit this later to reflect it), so their drinks seem to taste better than a café that uses Lavazza or Illy. They also make a good Americano with more water than I’ve seen in Europe, which is nice. The woman working there is friendly and can speak enough English to help us out when we’re stuck. She’s also fast, so we’re able to get in and out when we’re in a rush. They have some breakfast pastries like cornettos with jam and chocolate, and they also have sandwiches. It’s a good place to get a quick snack, and everything is reasonably priced. Two more great things about this place that I haven’t seen elsewhere: 1) Not super touristy. The morning clientele seems to be old Italian men reading newspapers. 2) Always a seat, and they look out to the street. I’ve never realized how nice it is to sit in an open coffee shop and watch the world go by. If you’re staying in the area, I recommend checking this place out for morning(or afternoon) coffee.
