This is and has always been my favorite panino in all of Florence. Don’t bother reading the menu — just have them make you a sandwich with meat or without (vegetarian). Per me, sempre un panino con carne, piccante, e con Viagra. Can’t go wrong! A panino costs 3.50 euro. :)

«A-​freaking-​mazing» says the Foodie. We rented an apt right down the street from this place and the owner highly recommended it to us, telling us it’s the best panini in the city. SO right. It’s very near the SMN train station and Mercato Centrale. From the outside it looks lack luster but you must eat here. We went EVERYDAY. Seriously. No tourists. We let the man behind the counter make us whatever he wanted and he made the most amazing carpaccio sandwich I’ve ever eaten. We only answered three questions, «Meat? Cheese? Spicy?». My wife and I got 2 hardy sandwiches, 2 glasses of wine, and bottled water for 11 euros. .. WHAT??? Cheapest, best meal we ate. Hands down. DO NOT MISS IT!!! Beware, they close early so go for lunch.
