Everything we’ve had here has been superb. We are in Levanto for our honeymoon and came across the restaurant and decided to try it. The first night we had to the pre-fee vegetarian menu and it was fantastic so we decided to come back again the next night. Again, everything we had was delicious. OK. One thing was not delicious. The bread leaves a lot to be wanted– but no one goes to a restaurant for bread. The pasta has been great, the sauces have been great, the salad was good, the service was good, the salt was good, the pesto was great, The wine was great, the french fries were great, the minestrone was great, everything was very very tasty and we will probably go again tomorrow GOHEREIFYOUHAVETHECHANCE.

The fixed price menu was really really good. The restaurant was well-designed, and the waitress/server offered an excellent explanation of all the dishes. She made our pesto at our table and it was the best I have ever had. The pasta, Trofie, really did a good job of managing the pesto, and the combination was heavenly. I will go there again before leaving levanto. The final course, a honey cake, couldn’t have been better.

We saw this place had good reviews so we tried it our first night in town and are going back before we leave! So great! Great service and very delicious food. We got the pumpkin seed gnocchi which was the best we’ve had in Italy so far and deep fried raviolis. Both amazing. Also, they speak great English and the menu is in English as well. This definitely helped us because we don’t speak any Italian. They also make the pesto right in front of you! The whole place smelled like pesto! YUM!

A great find in levanto. A total mom And Pom restaurant with great service and amazing food. The icing I. The cake was whe our waitress hand made the pesto sauce right before our eyes, explaining each step to us and our kids! And if you are vegetarian, this is the place for you with a prefix vegetarian menu! Loved the fresh catch, the fresh pasta with pesto, the fried ravioli with vegetable filling and the salad that were super fresh! A great place to eat in town!

We had high expectations after we read the good reviews. We had the menu from the sea and we’d didn’t like it very much. It was not bad but it was not even a little great. Soup was cold, fish was cold even the tagliatelle were cold. The pasta was super oily and the mussels sandy. All in all it was a disappointment for 60 euros,

Never expected some delicious dinner in this small village as we’ve got it! Only the surrounding are not the best BUT the meals — absolutely perfect! We’ve got some starters as Pasta and Cozze — great. But than came the Secondi Piati. We’ve had some steak and Octopus. Absolutely delicious and the serving woman was interested, very friendly and professional. Tip: try the White house-wine or the Sicilian red one. Great!

This is the epitomy of «slow food,» with such passionate attention to detail. Had the shrimp and truffle ravioli with butter and wine sauce and it was fantastic! We came back again for seconds a couple days later. The wine and beer selection is great and everything is locally sourced. Loved the fresh oysters as an appetizer and the spherical tiramisu to finish it off. Everything is prepared fresh on the spot and they even do table side pesto upon request. Love em!!!

We just got back from Italy where, in the two weeks we traveled, this restaurant served us 2 of the three best meals we had all trip. Service(provided only by the owner) was absolutely delightful, the wines by the local glass were very enjoyable, and the food was to die for. The gnocchi with truffle was hands down the best gnocchi I have ever had. The Gattafin — a local specialty appetizer, fried herb ravioli with a wild boar ragout sauce — was also to die for. Everything else that we ordered was also very, very good. Just writing about it now makes me sad that we are halfway around the country because I could kill for some more of that food right now. It is traditional Ligurian food with a focus on ethically produced and sustainable food and wine. Desserts! OMG the special panna cotta — flavors change each day — was also incredible.
