Oh my goodness the pasta and clams is to die for. So simple so ridiculously tasty. My friends and I enjoyed sitting in the piazza while drinking a bottle of red wine($ 23). The waiters all spoke English and were very kind when we butchered the Italian pronunciation of the menu items. Also, the menu items each have English descriptions in the back which is handy. I highly recommend the bruschetta which comes with some of the best tomatoes I’ve had. Come have a long lunch or dinner, enjoy the beautiful piazza and eat some great food!

We went after dinner for a nice glas of wine. I liked the wine but my husband had problems with his stomach afterwards. The house eine wasn’t therefore his favorite. The service was really slow but always nice. The location is great!

This place was advised by our Italian friend in order to offer the best Roman cuisine in Trastevere to our friends, who visited Rome. Even if it is in the centre of tourist area in Trastevere, not far from Trilussa square and there are plenty of tourists, the place still serves high quality standard Roman dishes, such as Artichokes, Fritti, formagi e salumi and etc. The manager is very hospitable and nice person with whom you can chat a while. At the end of the dinner, they have offered us a shot of amaro, on refusal we agreed for some biscuits and tiramisu. 5 out of 5 experience tonight. Definitely worth considering as the place to eat in Trastevere.

This place was really really good. We were walking around trastevere on a nice day and stumbled on this place because of the nice outdoor patio and I’m really glad we did. I overheard the waiter telling someone that this place had just opened within the month. All the food was fantastic and clearly well thought out and carefully prepared. The waiter was very affable and passionate about the food. He told us that they even produce their own olive oil which we had with their delicious fresh bread. The burrata cheese was fresh and amazing. We ordered their lasagna and carbonara which were both homemade and so good. The inside of the restaurant was very well decorated and looked like it would be great for a romantic date night.

We were looking for Zi’Mberto in the plaza, but they were closed… so, we thought to give this place a try, as it was our last place in Rome. We were hoping for a good cacio e Pepe, and since the owner of this place was outside the asked him if he had a good recipe. He said«don’t ask me about the food, ask me about the wine». Makes you question their food… we thought we’d give a shot with a few apps… it was heavenly. We ordered 2 appetizers, rolled eggplant and artichoke. The«carciofo alla romana su purea di fave decorticate», was impeccable. The mashed peas were tasty and it complimented the artichoke perfectly! The pasta was decent. They made a pesto with arugula instead of basil, which was very creative. The spaghetti carbonara was a little salty, but the organic wine made it better! If you wanna try a yummy not so popular restaurant, I highly suggest this place :)
