Categorized as a bed and breakfast, Blanco Vaticano was the place we selected for our stay in Rome. It is not easy to find because it does not look like a traditional hotel and there is no signage in the front in the building for the establishment. The bed and breakfast is on the 5th floor of a residential building so don’t be confused if you follow the google maps like we did. The establishment has 4 different rooms. Our room had a bathroom, two beds(one full and one twin), a desk and a wardrobe. The room was clean and very well maintained. There was an air conditioner and window that opened to provide ventilation. The hotel was equipped with wi-fi as well. Each morning for about 2 hours, a European breakfast is provided which included a croissant and fruit juice. The keys are traditional and so you only get one set. This is ok if you and your roommate are staying together during your vacation but if not, that could be the only problem with this place. The lodging is convenient to the metro, shopping and dining establishments. It’s also within walking distance to the Vatican and the Piazza Cavour.
