Let me put it like this: I would(maybe) come back if I paid 50 € per night or less. But regarding the rate we did pay for 3 days for that«hotel» is not accectable, if you take into account that you really can get much better value for money in proper«hotels». On arrival we had troubles finding the hotel, it is located in a normal apartment block. Once we found it though we were asked to come to the 2nd floor. Using an elevator from the 50ies we ended up in a small room, the reception was 1 small desk with a young guy sitting behind it. Welcome was somewhat ok, he told us that he still needed 30 minutes to clean the room(which indicated: this is a 1 man show), which was not a problem as we arrived too early anyway. We were given one set of keys, which contains 4 single keys and the vouchers for breakfast, which was obviously not in the same building because the so called hotel had only 5 rooms and the little reception area. After 30 minutes we were shown our room, bland, boring and not a touch of «design». The only positive feature was the bathroom with its shower, that was new-ish and quite stylish. Luckily it was also clean, although I did experience better. Never mind, we thought, we would be able to survive these 3 days. Once we placed our valuables into the safe(yuchuuu) we left to explore. What really bothered me/us: every morning at around 10 am the man knocked at our door and wanted us to leave the room so he could clean. The last day it was so annoying that we told him not to bother. The breakfast(included in rate) was: 1 croissant and 1 coffee! Not cool. Overall not what we hoped for and only because we did pay in advance and the convenient location(15 min on foot to Colosseum) kept us there. Also nice though: I was able to use the receptionists laptop to print out my boarding pass. This place is advisable for young people who really don t care and don t want any kind of service. For me it was not enough and way to overpriced, I will book a different hotel the next time.
