We loved our lunch. One starter dish of scallops with eggplant and a dish of pasta with monk fish ragout. Nice assortment of fresh bread, olive oil, a couple glasses of wine and a lovely day to dine al fresco. They gave us a small tasting basket of chickpea fritter and pomme frite on the house to get the meal started. Quality of food was outstanding, above exceptional, even for Italian standards. Service was attentive, but not excellent. We would definitely recommend Dot Bistro and will dine here again.

I was expecting a 5 star experience when I read the menu. The food didn’t quite live up to those expectations. It was very good, but not knock your socks off great. Some pros: They have an English menu. They have crudo. I was hoping to find more of this in Italy. They have the biggest wine list I’ve encountered in Italy. They are willing to drop a menu item if they are satisfied with the ingredients they had available that day. A con: I saw someone else’s review on TripAdvisor warn to check the accuracy of your check. Sure enough, we were charged for water we didn’t order.
