A perfect find for a touring lunch after visiting the Borghese Museum. This place has a little of everything: snack bar, pizzeria, tavola caldo, and ristorante. We continued to celebrate Roberta’s birthday with a toast of Proseco.

Was starving when we got back from sightseeing. Too late for lunch, too early for dinner. A lot of places were closed at 3:00. We decided to share a pizza and caprese salad. We ordered the onion pizza. It was one of the most flavorful pizzas we have ever had. The salad was super fresh and delicious as well. It is not physically the fanciest restaurant on the block, but the people are extremely friendly and the food delicious. Two beers a pizza and a salad for about 20 euros. The service was friendly, and very much on Italian time. We had to ask for the check and then for the credit card, but that’s expected and they were so friendly, it was fine. The only bad thing was that we ended up too full to eat dinner.

I was walking downtown looking for a place to eat a quick lunch and it turned into Mission Impossible. The majority of the places turned into«tourist food» and are highly recognizable from those hideous boards they put outside. Luckily I saw this place and went to take a closer look. The food looked good, the place looked clean and it was quiet. The waiter was nice and the food came out quick, even thought I love to take my time when I eat in Rome I really didn’t want to spend my entire day at a table considering I had a million things to see downtown and didn’t want to feel heavy either. Price was around 20 euros and I ended up getting some sort of shaved ice lemon in a real lemon peel, can’t recall the name but it was goooood! And refreshing! Anyway, if you’re around, give it a try.

We found this place by reading reviews on another user based forum(tripadvisor). The food was incredible… perhaps one of the best tortellini meal I’ve ever had while dining out. The tortellini was the days special and was ricotta and spinach I rolled on hand made fresh pasta. Deelishhhhhh… both of us loved it. Also had tiramisu… a bit of a letdown as a friends mom makes the best, but it was still very good. We will go back before leaving a Rome. Dinner(2 tortellini specials), tiramisu, a lemon soda, cappuccino, ½ litre of wine and a tea came to $ 32.50 Euro, including service charge. We left an additional tip as service was fantastic

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way back to our hotel after a long trip to Assisi. We liked it so much that we returned a few nights later! The waiters are extremely friendly and attentive, there is a menu with a great deal of variety and the food is very tasty. I had the best bolognese sauce I’ve ever had had some of the best cabanara. I’m sort of drooling as I write this review… Their soups were also very tasty. If you saved room for dessert, they have a great variety of gelato flavors. The best part is that they have some of the more affordable prices, especally in the area of Via Lombardia(a rather upscale area). I highly recommend this restaurant!

Daher volle Sternanzahl!
