I would not recommend this place. The waiter was hardly at our table(we were the only people in the restaurant!!!). The food was not good. We all had pizza and mine was the best out of the three but still not great. The other two pizzas were drowning in oil and made the whole pizza a soggy dough. Our pizza took an eternity to arrive and never once did the waiter apologise for the wait or then come back to ask us how our meal was.

Ate here our first day in Rome at the recommendation of the concierge at the Sofitel. Great place, seemed like a typical Rome sidewalk ristorante but was very friendly and the food was fresh and tasty. Would have have gone back for dinner but ran out of time! Capri salad and Cascio de Pepe pasta were great.

8 Jul 13. Waited 15 min before the waiter came for our drink order. Took another 15 to get them. I had spaghetti bolognese and my wife had fettuccine alfredo. Both were OK. I’m not yet used to al dente pasta yet, but sauce was good. Asked for a second beer and wait or forgot. I reminded him after 15 min. Piano player may bring the rating up to 3.5.

I love this place! We went here twice in the nine days we were in Rome, because we had such a great experience the first time. The food and wine are just excellent. We came here one of the first nights we were here and we were blown away, especially by their gelato(I had three flavors in one dessert: lemon, pistachio and strawberry)! The staff is excellent as well. We decided to come back our last night and not only did the waiter remember us, he remembered everything we ordered and then decided to surprise me with a special dessert. This place was one of my favorite memories of my time in Rome!

We’ve been here several time during our visits to Rome over the past two years. I know that many consider it to be a tourist spot at first sight, but there is always a good mix of tourists and locals. The service I good and the food is delicious. This time we tried the lasagne(it always seemed so pedantic to do so before) and the sauce is literally the best that I have ever had. The lasagne was served baked in an individual dish, hot and fresh. Between the four of us, we also had the bucatini all’ Amamtriciana, French fries(just a craving), the frito misto(an odd blend of flavors dr on around the world: stuffed jalapeño, Camembert, onion rings, spring rolls, Thai pockets and a small quesadilla with chèvre), a salad, bruschetta(the tomatoes were fish and flavorful), and fettuccine Alfredo(for my mother). All fabulous.
