2.5 stars. Some of the staff was pleasant but the good looking guy behind the desk was not and preferred to keep vibering with a girl named Elena. Breakfast was a joke. No food. Coffee machine makes half a cup. Single room was very small but ok. Bathroom was horrible because of the shower. It’s on the wall and aims at the bidet and the toilet paper. Wet feet all day! Hair dryer takes 30 mins to dry your hair if u can get it to stay on. Wouldn’t return.

I struggled between 2 and 3 stars for this place. But, overall my stay was pleasant so I’m going with 3. The hotel is located within walking distance(about 15 minutes) from the bus and train stations, which is handy. If you don’t want to walk the whole way, there’s also a nearby vaporetto station. It’s located next to a small canal and I was fortunate enough that my room had a window that overlooked the canal. My room was TINY, but I also got a single room. I got a glimpse into a regular room while housekeeping was in there and it looked less claustrophobic. I’m going to admit, the first day was rough, but I quickly got used to the tiny room and it was much more bearable with the shutters/window open. The twin bed was hard as a rock and while clean, the sheets had some threadbare spots. Crammed in the small space was also a wardrobe, desk, mini fridge, and small tv. The bathroom was a good size, but it had its quirks. The shower head was attached to the wall across from the bidet and the drain was a small hole in the floor. There was a sliding door to block the shower from the sink area of the bathroom, but the floor around the toilet and bidet get soaking wet each time you shower. And, take care not to aim the shower head towards the toilet or you might soak the toilet paper. Housekeeping was very good so if I showered in the morning it wasn’t too bad. But, the first thing I did on arriving in the afternoon was shower after a long flight and that whole night my feet got wet when I had to use the toilet. Ugh! The hair dryer was also bizarre and I had to lean into the shower area to extend the hose far enough for it to stay on — stand up normally by the sink and it clicks off. Breakfast was included, but wasn’t really worth it. Some sad looking rolls/pastries, some cereal, yogurt, and juices. I’m used to meats and cheeses in European hotels and often look forward to breakfast, but not here. Oh well. Room was not spectacular, but certainly adequate. Along with housekeeping being good, the employees at the front desk were also very nice. And, there was free wifi which was important to me since I was traveling alone and wanted to be able to stay connected. And, while I got it with a package deal(airfare/hotel), my guess is the price was cheap, so really can’t complain too much.
