Beach Palace

I’m here now and am not happy with the way things have turned out so far. I am here for a wedding and upon booking they did not offer the option of a beach view room which is extremely important to me. I called to ask why it wasn’t an option and they told me not to worry that I could upgrade upon check in. Well they were not accommodating at all and am now stuck in a room facing the noisy highway which they call the «lagoon view». To top it off they only had double beds available and I’m here with my fiancé. Super disappointed. I’m hoping things can only get better from here.

We stayed in Beach Palace for 6 nights. We didn’t have a sound sleep for even a singleday. Door was too loud, A/​C was not working properly, the bathroom shower water temperature suddenly got hot and suddenly got cold without touching anything. We got burned so many times, they didn’t fix this problem at all.
Staff is not helpful. If you complain about anything they don’t take any action at first, you always need to remind them at least 3 times.
Out dated room. Non smoking room smells like smoking room.
When I entered in my room no 714 it was very dusty and had a strong
outdated smell. I called the front desk nobody came, then I cleaned the furniture, A/​C unit and tv with towel by myself. l also cleaned floor with wet towel.

Experience at the beach and pool were great but the staff made this a very frustrating trip. They never seemed to have their stories straight and constantly gave us the run around. Our «go to guy» (deemed by the hotel) was horrible and dropped the ball on almost everything we tried to book through him. Recommend looking elsewhere to avoid headaches and frustration.

This review is solely based on their rooftop lounge, their lobby, and their brunch restaurant. I was here as a visit when we stayed at Sun Palace this past March, and we definitely didn’t like it as much as the Sun Palace. Why? The ambiance was more of a loud party atmosphere and wasn’t relaxing at all. The music was super loud and a completely different feel than what Sun Palace offers.
The restaurant though, wasn’t bad at all, it was very similar to el Alamo at the Sun Palace– great selections for brunch– healthy juices, omelets, pancakes, and grill items.
At the end, I think it depends on what you’re looking for ambience wise for your vacation. I think all of the palace resorts are pretty good and cater to your purpose of vacation.

My first all inclusive resort experience and wow was it amazing. The staff was always very helpful, food was delicious and easily accessible, the room was amazing, the rooftop pool with pool side bar/​food was perfect!
My gf and I stayed here for 5 days and we didn’t want to leave! With the 5 day reservation, you get $ 1500 room credit where you can use on a number of things. We used ours on spa and massages, the Valladolid Colonial tour, the Isla Mujeres and dolphin swim experience and other various tours.
The restaurants at the resort were all very good. The main restaurant, Tequila, is an open buffet style with daily rotating breakfast/​lunch/​dinner options and I don’t think they had the same thing twice while we were there. I really liked «La Terraza», their steak place. I ordered a filet mignon topped with tiger prawns and a side of grilled veggies. I also really enjoyed their Italian restaurant, Bocelli. Here I ordered a grilled octopus, mussels and a shrimp and white sauce gnocchi. Wow, everything was delicious! Also, the food and drinks pool side on the roof was also great (calamari, popcorn shrimp, ceviche, fresh fruit and a number of other things!).
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay at a resort in Cancun.

We visited Beach Palace while staying at Moon Palace. The beach is amazing!!! So blue and relaxing. Highly recommend Beach Palace if you are looking for a beautiful blue beach. The service while at the beach was also great.
We went up to the Sky Bar and Pool which looks out onto the Lagoon and Beach. Very neat. We enjoyed the beach over the pool!

I stayed here a week and it was beautiful! All the employees were very nice and helpful!!! LUIS AND NOE AT THE SWIM-​UP BAR WERE THE BEST :) they have three restaurants at this hotel, the food could have been better I must say but overall my stay was amazing! The skydeck is the place to be at night two pools and bar and you’re overlooking the ocean and lagoon it’s a pretty view!

Pros:
Gorgeous beach view. This is the main reason I give it a three star.
Nice heated pool (but very crowded).
Food quality is ok.
Cons:
Waste a lot of time on waiting. It took me almost a whole morning to book the trips. You need to wait in a long line to get omelette, grilled taco, or other grilled Mexican food in the buffet. You have to wait because other than that there is basically nothing you can eat in the buffet.
The air conditioner in the room is the worst. It’s right on top of your bed so it could make you extremely cold and even feel headache at night. I set the temperature around 76 degree. Every time the air conditioner was turned on, the chilly wind and loud noises woke me and my son up. I woke up several times every night. I am a good sleeper and barely wake up during night. The bed is not comfortable too. I couldn’t sleep well for the whole week.
Limited food choices. There are only two restaurants at Beach Palace. The Asian and the Italian restaurant. Some foods are good, but very few choices. Sushi at the Asian restaurant are served like buffet and you can’t order it. The only sashimi they have is salmon or tuna. The sashimi will be gone in seconds because they only provide very tiny portion and people are all waiting for it. The appetizer at the Italian restaurant is ok. The main course is way below standard. The drink is horrible. I had to go with orange juice all the time.

We stayed at the Sun Palace and therefore had access to any palace resort including Beach Palace. (PS if you ever go to Cancun this is the way to do it!)
During our 7 days, we ventured over to Beach Palace twice. The big draw for us was the rooftop pool.
PROS:
— Gorgeous rooftop with pool, swim up bar, AND wrap around balcony. When you see the pictures online, that is actually what it looks like. Equipment and lounge chairs/​beds are VERY expensive and look straight out of Frontgate.
— Service was excellent. All you can drink, eat. Order snacks at the rooftop bar off their palace resorts menu.
— The breakfast OMG the breakfast. I had the best omelette of my life here and I have been craving it ever since. They have a fresh salsa bar with any kind of salsa you could ever think of.
— Food is hot and fresh and very good quality. Freshly squeezed juice, fresh drinks, anything you could ever want.
— Service is very fast and friendly.
CONS:
— At night rooftop pool gets crowded. Go when it first opens and snag a bed lounger.
— Allows kids.
— Resort is geared toward family friendly. The regular pool has water slides etc. And there is only one tiny swim up bar area in the regular pool.
— The spa is not couples focused. They make the men go on one side and the women go on the other. It is very small and separate.
We would not stay here, but for families this place looks like a great option!

The Chef’s Dinner at the Beach Palace in Cancún. Whatever you do don’t miss it. The food is masterfully chafed and paired brilliantly with wines. A true culinary experience. Chef Guillermo Carmona’s creativity is boundless. Also the expertise of the sommelier Juan Jose Barbosa to pair wine with food is truly inspirational.

Pretty much the only good thing about this place is the steakhouse. The food suxs, the drinks are watered down and only a handful of staff are friendly. And warning. .it cost $ 100 USD to get your makeup airbrushed. It was Terrible! !! I had to wash my face and re do my makeup. They literally have no makeup skills. I could do a better job than anyone that works there. don’t waste money!!! There are many nice hotels in Cancun. I suggest you do a lot of research before you book here!

Overall, hotel is great.
Food is good, liquor is flowing, pool is clean and the beach is gorgeous.
One thing: Don’t fall for the whole «promotional credit» business. All they do is hike up the cost of something, then let you use your «credit» for part of it, and ask you to pay the rest, or tax, which is what you would pay for whatever it is normally in the first place.
Rooms are gorgeous, and so are the views.
Beach Palace gets 4 ½ stars from me

After accepting we were not going to get an ocean view we had a fantastic time. Many members (higher than us) were promised an ocean view and had to fight to get them So don’t expect an ocean view Other than that our trip was amazing. Wonderful staff. Moises in the restaurant, Fernando at the pool bar and Juan the chef are the best!!! I’m gluten free and the staff totally took care of me If you have any food allergies tell the head chef, not your waiter. They are amazing

The resort is a little smaller than Moon Palace but I much prefer BP. The location is way better. You have easy access to downtown, the mall and pretty much the rest of the strip. Moon Palace is very isolated so your guest are pretty much stuck on the resort unless they want to pay the hefty 40 $ each way cab ride to and from the strip. We found the bus doesn’t take you to the moon palace resort so the cab is your only option unless you take the free shuttle which is twice a day in the morning… that sucks because it restricts timing…
As far as the wedding goes, our coordinator was Marco. He was AMAZING… I highly recommend asking for him as your coordinator… he went above and beyond and made everything perfect. We had some issues with our offsite coordinator… although she was really nice, she was a little unorganized (maybe overworked, i dont know) Her response time was really long (about a couple weeks) and she had a lot of our orders incorrect and there were so many mistakes with the details… i dont like to leave bad reviews so im not going to drop her name but i think she must have been over swamped or something… because i really had to micromanage her work… But Marco jumped through so many hoops and tried to fix them even though it was last minute. he took care of everything and made sure I didnt really need to do work… hes organized, efficient. and has great taste!!! He really works with you to make your vision come true…. I definitely recommend you confirming with your onsite coordinator all the details of the wedding before showing up. i wish i had just worked with marco from the beginning … it would have saved me a lot of trouble… **recommendation to the resort: they should keep the same coordinator for planning and executing the event
The service staff was unbelievably great. They were so polite and kind… they kept the drinks filled, tables clean, they were constantly running back and forth giving into every need of our guests. Everyone was ranting about how great the service was.
We ordered some stuff from the decoration vendor (Zuniga) They’re really helpful in the planning process. The items we ordered worked great, they did set up late though and that sort of threw off our time (sister had to complete the deco with stuff we brought from home and she only had 20mins to do it even though we had planned for 1.5hrs)
Photography was phenomenal… VERY professional and although its pricey… you get amazing pictures… our photographer was Paco Aguilar… with Dream Art Photography… great photographer. he made it seem so effortless… the beach was CROWDED and in the photos it appears as if we are alone… Great job… highly recommend them!

Food– The food is amazing! We had a couple events before the actual wedding day so we tried out some of the other menu options. The head Chef who orchestrated our menu is Chef William (don’t know the last name) He is very professional and nice… Great personality and a wonderful chef. The first night we had the Mexican Buffet… I highly recommend it!!! It was DELICIOUS! I wish I had ordered this for the other nights as well. The Chicken Mole was mouth watering! This menu isn’t your typical (Americanized Mexican Cuisine) it will take yours and your guests taste buds for a ride! The second event we had Italian… this was great too, just not my favorite. everyone else really enjoyed it… the wedding night we had the French menu… everything was delicious… my guests raved about the food… for the cocktail hours… we had the superior deluxe menu, the Mexican cocktails… it was beautiful… Everything was amazing… thank you to the kitchen staff for all their hard work… we truly enjoyed the food.
DJ– Our DJ was really great… they were very accommodating with our music type/​preference. I brought an ipod to play Persian/​Arabic/​Turkish music… the DJ did a GREAT job encorporating the music into more modern pop/​dance music of his own… we danced NON stop… So much fun!!! My only complaint is that at the end of the night… he cut the last song halfway inbetween… And just shut everything off… lights… music… all the above… it was a little abrupt and without warning… Not the best way to end the night… Another thing is his accent was very strong and it was hard to unders

This resort is beautiful & the ocean is magical. I was staying at Moon Palace & went to Beach Palce for the day with my mother in law. It took me an hour & asking 3 different members of the staff to please bring us a champagne bucket of ice to keep the bottle cold on the beach. In august it’s so hott & your drinks will get warm. I kept being handed off to different people & no one took the initiative to get us a bucket. Finally, after an hour one came. The beach was very packed but there were lounge chairs by the lifeguard tower & the staff was helping guest set them up. I swear it was like pulling teeth to get someone to help us get some chairs. I had to ask multiple times & I hate when I feel like I’m bugging someone so I’m very nice about it but I guess you have to be demanding. Overall the day was beautiful but the staff may need a refresher on customer service.

Went here with my good friend in 2012 since we were part of the Moon Palace resort stay. It was free transportation shuttle that we used to get here. We didn’t stay here though. The location of the resort is in the center of the strip of other hotels, and even shops and restaurants. We wanted to check out the hotel, location and restaurants they offered. The asian fusion restaurant on the main floor at that time was pretty good. It’s not authentic asian but good enough. The staff here were very friendly; no sales pitch here. I really liked the top floor swimming pool but it was small. It’s mainly an adult all-​inclusive hotel. There was a bar there as well. The back of the hotel where a huge swimming pool lay and beach was located off the pool area. It was a beautiful view. The sand was white, warm and soft. If I was to go back here, I would. It’s still an inclusive hotel but pretty pricy for a smaller Palace resort and what is offered. I will probably pass by here again when I go back here next year! I am glad they finally have these resorts to rate on Unilocal… :-)

Just got back from a week at the Beach Palace and I am SO relaxed and can’t wait to get back again. The service is amazing! I can’t say enough about how fast and friendly the service is here. The food options are great too. They have an Asian restaurant (sushi choices), an Italian restaurant that was also fantastic, a casual steakhouse and the buffet that was always fresh and tasty. I really have no complaints about this place at all. Oh wait yes I do… the membership that they try to get you to buy is a little time consuming and they do get pushy at the end when they ask for your business. This is pretty standard with most resorts though so I can’t knock them for trying.
The beach was pristine and there were plenty of seats and umbrellas. The beach servers were great and brought out drinks and also umbrellas to everyone. I highly suggest this place to stay if you are contemplating a trip to Cancun.

Stayed for 4 nights in July. LOVED IT!!! I was sooo sad to leave! The rooms are beautiful, the food divine and the staff amazing. Manny at guest relations was awesome and friendly, while Fernando and Carlos at the swim up bar kept us entertained (and well watered!) for hours.
I used the resort credits for a pedicure at the spa, which was heavenly. I was unsure if the all inclusive deal covered everything — but it’s EVERYTHING. We were drinking shots and concoctions I’d never heard of! Every waiter tried to get us into tequila at the end of the meals (we could hardly say no, right?!) haha.
It’s a long way for us to travel from New Zealand, but Beach Palace and Cancun itself made it all so worth it. I can’t wait to come back and stay longer next time!

This is by far one of the best resorts I have been to!!! My fiancé and I came here ²⁄₂₀₁₄ and we loved every minute of it! The service was spectacular! The smell of the resort when you walk in is sooo refreshing! The food was delicious but not your authentic Mexican food! They services ceviche at the pool area! Their drinks are delicious! Tips are included in your stay but you should still tip!!! I’m excited about their wedding venue we will be returning soon!

This place is all about the service and the location is excellent if you’re into lounging on a white sand beach with turquoise colored water. I’ll be updating this review more soon.
