Habenero’s is a great place for delicious food. I would recommend this place due to the quality of the food, the wait staff, and the price. Cabo is full of expensive restaurants that don’t quite have the quality you expect for the price. My fiancé and I were so impressed that we went there for dinner twice back to back. Excellence all the way!

*Tortilla soup was yummy, large bowl. *The Frazzled Prawns were the hit at our table! Could’ve ordered 2 and had as a meal! *Voodoo chicken was really good –would be great without the filling(not sure what the cheese filling was but I’m not a fan of blue cheese which is what it tasted like and there was quite a bit of it) *Filet minogn was cooked to perfection and so tender! Whatever the sauce, it was delicious *Chile Relleno not great but my 17 y/o was willing to try it. If you like chile Relleno tha you’d probably like it

We came here on the recommendation of the concierge on our first trip to San Jose del Cabo and have been coming back every time since. The food is great, outdoor seating is a fun way to pass the evening and the frazzled shrimp are a must.

We never go out in New Years… food and service usually disappoint. Friends suggested here for dinner and WOW! The food was fabulous and Victor, our server was awesome! I had the surf and turf and my husband had the lamb shank. Both were cooked to perfection! Victor was attentive but not intrusive. Ask him to show you his bar tricks! Can’t wait to go back!

Habanero’s Went on a Friday night for a friends birthday celebration. Our hotel made reservations and the staff has a great table for us when we arrived. We had the special cranberry margarita and it was delicious and Hugh(important things first) 2 of had the shrimp fajitas with corn flower tortillas. Great. The other two had salads and they were pleased as well. The staff was great and one even did tricks. Yay. They surprised our friend by singing happy birthday and delivering a dessert mane like a tortilla with ice cream and powdered sugar. This place is always a repeat visit when we go to Cabo. Food is great as well as the service.

Quiet restaurant, but a good waking distance near the hotels. We ordered beers, appetizers, & entrees for only $ 50. Everything here was tasty. The blue coast salad was topped with roasted nuts, cranberries, feta cheese & balsamic vinegar. The tortilla soup was flavorful & light. For my entrée I ordered the shrimp fajitas and the portion was big, I do recommend you sharing plates here. The rice and beans that came with it was buttery, and had a nice hint of cilantro as well. Our server was friendly and quick throughout our dinning experience, overall I do recommend this place !

Best guacamole of our trip to Los Cabos. All four of us wanted to lick the bowl! The calamari was fantastic, as well. My husband and I could have shared the fajitas. My sister ordered the Chicken Voodoo which was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Mexico! Yum!!!

This place was awesome! On point in every way. Great selection of tequila and mezcal. Bar tender let me try different Mezcal’s before making a choice. I had the Fresh Ahi and my wife had the Mexican Combo. Both delicious along w fried manchango and tortilla soup for appetizers. Yeah we pigged out but it hit the spot! You won’t be disappointed.

Very good service, prices were reasonable. We started with chips and guacamole, and a few other things like salsa habanero sauce. We then had there coconut shrimp, excellent! I had the Voodoo chicken another excellent choice for there 11.00 dollar special. My wife had the chicken linguini with Alfredo sauce. She commented, why do I have to come to Mexico to get great Chicken Alfredo? LOL. We also had a bottle of Merlot wine, and mud cake for desert. 2 hours of enjoyment for about 60.00USA dollars.

Best meal in Cabo. The ahi ceviche was wonderful. Laurel had the pork tenderloin with plum sauce and I had the chicken voodoo. If the chicken voodoo is interesting to you but another reviewer said it was spicy and that had you worried, go for it. I’m a well known spice wuss and it was not too hot for me. The real winner tonight was the pork. I’ve had good steaks that weren’t that tasty, juicy and tender.

Now this is what you expect from a Mexican restaurant! The real Mcoy! Right down to the live salamander under the out door lights. Mojito’s and Voodoo chicken!

We went to Habanero’s on the recommendation of a security guard at Grand Mayan. Wow! From the special Jalapeño Margarita to the daily special Chile Relleno, everything was great. The chips were thick and fresh, guacamole and interesting salsa selection were delicious. The tortilla soup was top notch!!! Voodoo Chicken was spicy goodness filled with cheese! The fajitas were enormous and the tortillas super fresh. As I mentioned, the daily special Chile Relleno was off the charts. The chile was bigger than my two hands together. It was filled with cheese, steak, and black beans!!! It was enough for dinner and lunch for 2 the next day. Great service and atmosphere. Priced well and way too much food. We will be back!

Took a break from our resort to try this place out and we were not disappointed! We started with chips and guacamole and then spit the Surf & Turf for two. It was so delicious and our favorite meal we’ve had in Cabo so far. It consisted of two lobster tails, filet mignon, and shrimp. Everything was perfect! Staff was extremely nice and gave great drink recommendations! We had some classic margs and also the mixed berry mojito. Delicious! We decided to have two dinners not at our resort, and we are honestly considering just repeating this meal since it was so amazing. Can’t stop recommending!

Fine touristy restaurant with appropriated food: carne fajitas and buñuelo were good. Also the tequilas drink were well made. The rooms are welcoming and comfortable, with only few tables inside(if you need conditioned air it’s better to reserve in advance). I noticed the lack of cloth napkins(sorry, this is one of my personal element to evaluate a restaurant quality index). Service was endearing friendly and rather quick. Incredible, for me, the elevated assortment of spirits beverages on shelves.

MMMmmm, sad I am not getting to revisit this joint before leaving. Service is excellent and attentive. I found Habanero’s on a search for«breakfast places» and the reviews don’t lie. Freshly squeezed juice, home-made hot sauces(Habanero ;) and pico de gallo. An extensive breakfast menu for great prices. Conveniently located close to town centre.

Another win for us from Unilocalers!!! Found this place with 5 stars here on Unilocal!and we were staying nearby so we decided to try it… I tried the chicken voodoo because of the comments here even though i was extremely leery of gorgonzola and chipotle keywords, but it was every bit as delightful as the previous comments!!! my mom got the pumpkin seed crusted fish and loved it, today’s catch was white sea bass. my dad got the ribeye and was not the least bit disappointed. my mom and I also had the special drink of the day, blueberry and kiwi margarita(but they made them daiquiris for us because we don’t do tequila) …((rum instead of tequila)) YUMMMMM!!!

Best meal we’ve had in Cabo! Our party of three had the chicken piazza, habanero shrimp and the steak fajitas. All of the food was excellent. The wait staff was efficient and at the end did a magic trick for us and showed us the secret!

We had a great dining experience here. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious. Excellent collection of different tequilas to taste. Returned the next day on the way to the airport to have brunch. Everything on the brunch menu was $ 10 per dish. I’m very satisfied w/this place.

This place was so good we came here twice during our trip. We had their surf and turf our last night here, and then we ordered various apps our first time to get a feel. Big props to our valet at our hotel as he suggested this place(he says he brings wifey here on special occasions.) ITISEXPENSIVEHERE. So beware. However, the quality of food is on point. In the end when your having conversation with your group and digesting at the table the servers come around do fun little magic tricks with cards and string with you. Super cute, and a nice creative twist to their customer service. My faves: LOBSTERTOSTADAS COCONUTSHRIMP SEAFOODSUSHIZZATRIO TUNACEVICHE SURFANDTURF — Steak was tender and well seasoned and marinated. The lobster was FAT! Also came with coconut shrimp. MARGARITA — NOT a fan. There’s just a WHOLE lot of margarita that I couldn’t drink it all, and the flavor is just too powerful. MOJITO — I think they used tequila instead of rum. Which I didn’t like too much. *Get BOTTLED water. NEVER drink tap.* You’ll thank me later.
