El Mariachi

Good food, fun atmosphere. I had the shrimp ceviche and chicken fajitas, both of which were solidly cooked and presented. This is definitely one of the pricier restaurants on the road catered towards tourists. My travel buddy and I had been eating at the local taquerias all week which were equally if not more delicious but wanted to have a nice place to sit, some wifi to take advantage of, and a clean bathroom to use for this one dinner. This place did all that for us.

I do not always eat late night in the middle of Tulum, but when I do, I eat at El Mariachi Loco.

Unassuming from the outside, solid good grub on the inside. Quick service. Flank steak tacos were appreciated and disappeared quickly.

Incredible place with authentic mexican food. The tacos al pastor are a must, the ceviches and the avocado with tuna delicious. The portions are big, 5 tacos per order and the prices are super accesible.
Will definitely come back for more…

We waited out the torrential rainfall here before going to see the ruins at Tulum. Street side hatch roof dining here. Good margaritas and cold beer. We ordered some guacamole and chips and a side of cheese dip. The cheese dip was a block of cheese half melted and broke any tortilla chip in two with ease. Lol.
Conveniently located on the strip of shops for all you souvenirs and silver jewelry needs.
Bathrooms weren’t too disgusting or anything like that.
Had some TVs too.

Decent food and good cocktails. Definitely better taco options in Tulum, but a nice spot for drinks and people watching.

Me and my husband live in New York and like the nice part of Tulum. Last night we decided to go off the beaten path and ended up in this side walk place. We payed $ 40 for enormous amount of tasty food. Delicious fajitas and friendly staff.
I may go back again and take a picture of the food so this review tells more.

We only had beers here so can’t comment about the food. The bar area that is right on the sidewalk is a good place for people watching

Todos sabemos que en Cancún, aunque están medio escondidos, sí hay lugares excelentes para comer, pero ¿Qué pasa con el resto? Si a caso, he visto recomendaciones sobre sitios en Playa del Carmen, pero aún hay un lugar que está casi inexplorado por Unilocal: TULUM. Un lugar que no alcanza la categoría de ciudad, pero tiene ese ambiente maravilloso de pueblo. Donde el tiempo parece pasar más lento y la vida parece siempre más tranquila.
Esta vez les hablaré sobre «El Mariachi», una taquería con excelente sabor y servicio. ubicada en el centro de Tulum. Es imposible pasar por alto esta taquería, ya que es bastante grandecita, y tiene un grandísimo letrero. Te anuncia de inmediato que has llegado a uno de los restaurantes favoritos de todo tulum. Desde que entras, el olor te hace elevar a lo más alto tus expectativas. Al llegar, nos atendió un mesero que teníà la mejor actitud, y siempre estuvo al pendiente de lo que necesitamos, siempre de buen humor, haciendo recomendaciones y dando la mejor cara, excelente forma de atender al cliente.
El tiempo que esperamos para que nos sirvieran fue bastante aceptable, muy corto en realidad. ¿Y El sabor? … DELICIOSO. La carne es muy fresca y el sabor es excelente. La calidad de sus alimentos también es de primera. Si bien la carne «al pastor» no es la clásica del D. F, sí sabe deliciosa, al igual que los tacos de chuleta y bistec. Tienen variedad, Tanto de carnes como de productos. Venden tacos, gringas, burritos y algo más…
Siempre es un gusto encontrarte con estas joyas perdidas y poder presumir que fuiste uno de los afortunados en disfrutar sus delicias. Si están por tulum, no duden en darse un manjar en «El Mariachi», que por cierto, resulta ser bastante económico. Realmente me encantó este lugar. Ni lo piensen. ¡Es de lo mejor!
