Delicious coffee at this place. My wife definitely needs her coffe each day and she had already scoped this place out online before we came, and I tell you we were not disappointed. The first morning in Tulum we went straight here and she ordered a latte with soy milk. First sip of it – her eyes light up with joy and excitement. Good place, nice service.

Yep, solid coffee from good people. Thanks to friends and Unilocal I headed here my first morning on my rented bike, then in the afternoon, then every day on my trip to Tulum. If you like your coffee rich and pure, then Tulum will do you right.

Really good coffee! I live in Australia where the coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had and there’s was on par with it. Usually I am quite disappointed by the coffee when overseas. Fast and friendly service.

The cappuccino is amazing… it’s worth driving to this great place. My fam got iced vanilla lattes and iced chai and it was all so good. We are coffee snobs and this place met every expectation for great espresso.

Same review I posted on the Facebook page: Absolutely awesome coffee(best I’ve had in the Riviera Maya over many visits), fresh-squeezed orange juice that’s like sweet sunshine in a glass; excellent French toast(real maple syrup!) and omelette with thick-cut bacon and Oaxacan cheese… Sigh… We’ll be back!!!

Stayed in Tulum about 3 weeks and frequented this place almost every day! The café is super cute, it goes back into a patio area too from the street. They have a wonderful attentive staff and the coffee is to die for! You can also make it to your taste, i.e. for the non-dairy eater/drinker, you can have your latte with almond milk! It’s fantastic and they grind the coffee right in front of you so you know you coffee/latte/espresso drink is always fresh. Food looked good too although I didn’t dine there. I think it’s worth the stop especially if you love coffee.

I came to Ki’Bok 3 times during my 5 day trip to Tulum. It was actually our first and last stop of the trip. The espresso is amazing– and they do a great chai café latte. The people are very friendly, and the wifi signal actually works(a rare find in Tulum). I would highly recommend coming here if you are visiting Tulum. Staff is friendly and they also take USD, which is very convenient.

Fantastic family owned coffee shop. Coffee is high quality and prepared with care. It was a place that immediately satisfied our big city snobbery regarding a quality caffeune fix. We have gone there 3 days straight and have every intention of going our last 4 mornings. We’ve enjoyed single and double cortados, a fruit salad with granola, and the huevos racheros!

Absolutely incredible cappuccinos and nice«expat watering hole» vibe. I am ridiculously picky about my espresso and this place is top-notch. Bonus points for their efficient, friendly service. They have a cute courtyard out back.

Quaint and cozy little café. We took a trip to the Tulum ruins this morning and noticed a Starbucks there. Really? So we asked our taxi driver to take us down to the main street of Tulum, to which he said was«very slow and different than PDC,» and we replied with, «that’s perfect!» We found this great little café. Such friendly people with impeccable English and excellent service. Macchiato and chocolate frappé was amazingly good!

Best coffee place in Tulum. Family owned and operated, hables gringo, quality coffee sourced from Mexico, roasted by real Italians, excellent chai lattes and espresso. Great wifi, good people, kept me well caffeinated for my entire stay. Daniel is a native/local and super helpful with suggestions/directions, entire staff is pretty cool.

We couldn’t find good coffee in the area so we stumbled upon this café with a hippie vw bug with a burr grinder attached to the backside at its storefront. Indeed it was a relief to find great coffee… highly recommend.

There was something perfect about waking up in our hotel round the corner and sauntering over to Ki’ Bok in the morning, eyes still half shut. The coffee of course was brilliant but what was better was the vibe. The café embodies Tulum at its best — simple but high quality. None of the corporate fuss coffee shops around the world now seem to have. Just a café with character. And a big part of character for me was the lovely barista, Rebecca, always happy and positive, from Sacramento but trying on a slight English accent. And why not, it’s Tulum! You can have an English accent one week and a Spanish one the next. No one cares. So long as you’re fun to be around. But seriously she is amazing: No attitude, total patience even with the most obvious recently arrived clueless tourist which I was when I first met her. You sip your coffee, you chat with people from random parts of the world, and plan your breakfast after which you find a beach club to camp out with a cool drink or a Mayan ruin to drive to. But it all starts with Ki’ Bok. Can’t wait to be back there someday. Somehow I don’t think Rebecca will still be there.

So great to have amazing west coast top quality coffee in Tulum! And pastries too. Joel, the owner, and his family are from Sacramento and are super friendly. I definitely recommend this place for the best coffee experience in Tulum!

Ki’Bok isn’t just the best coffee in QRoo — it’s one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking. Part of the vibrant Centauro Sur Street scene and run by a four-child Korean-Scottish family from the most exotic of locales — Sacramento! I stumbled onto K’B on the recommendation of a cab driver and was immediately welcomed by Joel and his sister Rachel. The shop’s counter opens out onto the street, and the flutter of locals and tourists in and around the shop is an invigorating glimpse at the non-corporate side of Pueblo Tulum. K’B has every drink you would ever want, and a few you may never have heard of. Of particular note was the Hemmingway: Café Cubano meets the Cortadito. It was pretty amazing, especially when pared with a bite of Tequila Chocolate. While I sat there, charging my iPhone(there are outlets) and chatting, I met an Italian muralist, a local real-estate broker, and a pair of New Yorkers, who I wound up having dinner with and then scuttling off to Playa Del Carmen for a dance-off. Scooters and tuk-tuks pulled up, grabbed coffee, chatted, and went about their day. The energy was amazing and warm — a way to get a feeling of the pulse of creative Tulum. There is an Italian-owned mojito bar next door and a French restaurant across the street. If you’re looking for Starbucks, go elsewhere. But if you’re longing for a taste of your local Portland, Silver Lake, or Brooklyn-style coffee shop(without the pretension), I highly recommend touching down at Ki’Bok.

Best Coffee on the Riviera Maya. Great barista quality coffee. I order the ‘Gibraltar’ to get close to my Flat White, the Cortado is also great. Wifi, good vibe and great local tips. Thanks Joel, I’ll be back.
