This is one of those cool skater/​surfer/​snowboarder equipment stores that sell heaps more than just cool clothing. They stock heaps of apparel as well as the actual equipment required to ride on. I must admit that most of the items are quite expensive, but that’s mainly because they always stock up on new season models. If you want to keep up with what’s new, then you must pay the price. I bought a wallet from here, and the quality is really good, which I assume is the same with most of their other items. They have quite a large selection to choose from and the lady who assisted me was very friendly and helpful.

Backdoor stocks a lot of brands that I like to check out, so I’m usually in here for a browse whenever I’m in the mall. It’s quite a big store and the different sections of women’s, men’s, sale, surf gear and so on are separated well. I like their changing rooms because they’re big and roomy, so that’s always a big plus for me. The staff here are pretty chilled out and leave me to look around, so it’s great.
I’m not a surfer or snowboarder, so I’ve never really seen Backdoor’s full potential, but from what I’ve heard with the staff speaking to customers who are, they’re very knowledgeable and used words I didn’t understand. At the heart of it, Backdoor truly is a surf and snowboard store that sells clothes on the side, and there’s nothing wrong with that– in fact, its awesome.
