This is a favorite of ours. Good food. Nice people and nice feel in the restaurant. You can even write on the walls with crayons … while many restaurants in Devonport change owners often… and often not with good results… nikolinos has had the same owner for over 10 years with very consistent quality. Highly recommended if u visit devonport

Dined here a couple of months ago as we had heard Nicolino’s was a great, established restaurant in Devonport. Fantastic, friendly and prompt service. I had the duck as my main, a generous dish served with a rich creamy sauce it was absolutely delicious. This review is posted quite retrospectively but I felt I had to give a quick note to a restaurant that serves beautiful food and will certainly be going back to!

Two words: Greek and night. This place is consistently awesome and has a great ambiance but on Thursdays it really comes alive. There’s everything Greek you can imagine — ouzo, plate-smashing, live music and dancing the zorba. If you haven’t been to Greece then this could possibly be the next best thing. At any rate its a fun place with great food and excellent service, the pizzas are especially standout although in my experience much better while dining-in. Good local following which i’m sure is the reason why it’s managed to stick around over the years.

Hands down my favourite restaurant on the North Shore, Nicolinos is a little Greek restaurant up Victoria Road nestled right beneath Mt Victoria and five minutes from the ferry terminal. Everything about this place just oozes effortless, understated charm. The exposed brick walls have been written on by many travellers, and the pictures of Santorini give an appropriately Greek vibe. They do all sorts of authentic Greek fare, but for me the pizzas are always pretty special. Enjoy in the restaurant with the regular live music, or take it outside to one of the many nearby vantage points. Either way, it’s a great excuse to take a ferry over to Devonport for those of you on the other side of the bridge!
