If you work in Highbrook and are a sushi lover, then this place is a dream for you, like it is me. This is a great sushi takeaway located in Highbrook/​East Tamaki that provides the best value for money sushi I have ever come across. The portions are HUGE and i mean huge. Picture your normal salmon and avocado sushi piece for $ 1.20 and double the size, all still for $ 1.20. Great bang for your buck. There are some really yummy options with smoked and grilled salmon, spiced prawns and even deep fried sushi! Yes I initially thought yuck, who would deep fry sushi but after someone buying it for me and giving me no choice but to try it, i am a convert and sneak that naughty one on my tray every time now. Cute and lovely staff, and the option of ordering online which saves time– this is a popular sushi bar, and there are normally a few people in line.
