I’ve been a custumer of Sul for some time and every time i have the pleasure to dine here it is such a pleasent ocasion. Starting with the décor(simple yet cozy, and oh my god have you seen thr bathroom hahaha) passing trought the staff wich is always friendly, heplfull and always bring a smile to the table and of course finishing with the great food! If I could chance one thing would be more variety of the garnish elements they have to go with the amazing meat because altough great once you come here 3 times you uave tasted it all: p nonetheless a great place to go and have a blast with friends or that special someone. Keep it up!

Great food and wine! Cozy little spot with good service. We had the filet, potatoes, and lasagna, which were amazing. Have to try the garlic butter. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My friends and I did an early walk-in dinner to Sul on our last night in Lisbon. The modern, hip setting, and present patrons seated was a big curb appeal for us all. Having been a large group we were seated a round table underneath the stairway — their largest table. For the most part, service at the beginning was consistent and evenly paced. Food and drinks were ordered timely and arrived timely. But as the evening progressed, slowly the deductions were piling in my head. A large bread basket was set in the middle of the table immediately after our bottles of wine and water came. But having read the menu prior to its arrival, I felt a bit negative about it since they charged 2,30 Euro per person regardless if one or just a few ate from it. For actual meals, everyone had ordered steaks(except three) and a few appetizers to go around the table. It took a while for all of food to arrive which we had all noticed, but arrive right before any of us really had to make a serious complaint about it. Three weeks back from Lisbon and to be honest, everything is now blurry which speaks for itself. My boyfriend and I had shared the SALMON/PINEAPPLE appetizer which was fresh and interesting in flavors. For dinner he had the RUMPSTEAK and I had the pumpkin walnut CANNELLONI(14 Euro). I appreciated the warm dish, but unfortunately the Cannelloni just got boring and mushy after a few bites. The Rump Steak which I had a chance to taste was well cooked and seasoned; I took more than tasted by the end of the night. Factor in everything, the value, the good but not great food, the slow turnaround for our entrees, and CASHONLY policy, Sul ended up being on our least favorite meals for the beautiful city.

Um restaurante com uma decoração muito acolhedora e original. Uma verdadeira mistura entre o tradicional e o moderno, onde nos sentimos logo confortáveis. É aqui que venho comer um bom bife na pedra, acompanhado por um vinho tinto. Não sou um grande apreciadora de bife, mas quando é na pedra e com molhos excelentes, é logo outra coisa. Também as sobremesas são deliciosas, sendo a minha decisão quase sempre o tiramisú. Muito bom. O serviço é sempre muito simpático e atencioso. A falar neste restaurante, vou agora tentar convencer o meu namorado para irmos lá um destes dias. :)

Em pleno Bairro Alto muito perto do largo de camões, fica este restaurante com uma decoração muito interessante de bastantes detalhes tipicamente lisboetas(Azulejos, mesas, madeiras usadas) assim como uma mezzanine muito engraçada com bastante espaço. A comida é muito boa, especialmente o bife na pedra e o Maigret de Pato, assim como as sobremesas para quem é apreciador da combinação de sabores e frutas. Os empregados são muito simpáticos e bastante pacientes quando o espaço está a abarrotar de pessoas e sobra pouco espaço para circular. O preço está em linha com o praticado em alguns restaurantes da zona, ou seja, um pouco acima da média mas dada a originalidade de alguns pratos e sobremesas, vai valer a pena.

Já não ia há alguns anos, voltei e gostei de perceber que mantém o mesmo espírito. Bom ambiente que mistura o tradicional com elementos modernos, os azulejos na parede com toque rústico e tradicional não afetam a atmosfera intimista que se vive, antes conferem personalidade ao espaço. A comida é boa, sobretudo para os apreciadores de carnes, destaco em particular a carne na pedra e os molhos que a acompanham.

Après un week-end passé à 13, le dernier repas du dimanche soir à 7. Plus calme, mais de qualité. Assis tous à une belle table ronde en bas, isolé des autres tables, nous avons pu déguster de belles grillades: — pierrades pouer les uns; — grillades de cochon noir pour les autres; — salades pour ceux ayant le plus besoin de nourriture saine… … le tout arrosé d’un bon vin rouge portugais… Tout le monde était très satisfait du contenu des assiettes comme du service!

Un très bon restaurant de grillades et bar à vins. La viande est de qualité et les sauces d’accompagnement à la hauteur. Les pierrades permettent à chacun de griller la viande à son goût. L’accueil est sympathique et l’on y parle français.
