Simply incredible. It’s all about accuracy and relevance. From the service, the tasty decorated place to the quality of the dishes. The fact that the menu is translated in English and French might remind you of a touristic trap but it’s meant to help understand better the sophisticated composition of the dishes. Even the salt cellar and cutlery are from Guy Degrenne ® In terms of food I would highly recommend the octopus or the salad with prawns.

Amazing food. Each dish was excellently presented and tasted just as good as it looked. The dishes are rather small and the price is quite high but overall worth the money. My parents and I ordered 5 plates and got small salads and 2 desserts and we’re pretty full by the end. You can go wrong with anything you choose!

A really nice spot with excellent service, innovative and delicious food and a hip atmosphere. The dishes are all fairly small so we were able to sample a number. We had the mozzarella salad, sardines, sausage bonbons and pork and prawns. There was enough for each to have a taste but not too much that we still had room for chocolate cake with cherries. Each dish was an interesting taste. The pork was as tender we’ve ever had(unlike many Portuguese dishes) and the mango and avocado salad that accompanied the sardines were standouts. This place is not hard to find and worth the stroll south from the Baixa-Chiado Metro stop to get there.

Excellent tapas style food in Baixa-Chiado area. Extensive Portuguese wine list with experienced staff who will guide you through a memorable meal. The ambiance is romantic, genuine and classic Portuguese. Do not miss this restaurant! Focaccia with mushrooms and sweet Parmesano was epic and the goat cheese with honey were particularly amazing but no dish was disappointing.

Wonderful small dishes. Especially appreciated the sausage bonbons, quail in phyllo and the salmon tartare. Out of the way but well worth the hunt. Great setting and music, too.

Eis um espaço que faz jus ao nome: para quem não sabe, «Xapuri Bistro» significa, em indígena, «Lugar Bom». E o que é mau é que eu nem sei por onde começar. Bom, em primeiro lugar, é boa a decoração do restaurante, perfeitamente rústica e vintage até nos detalhes que não podem passar despercebidos. Mal vou entrando no Xapuri, reparo logo nos tijolos seculares, nas abóbodas que sustentam o espaço e nos candeeiros que iluminam o Xapuri graças a uns copos de plástico. Após a surpresa inicial, sento-me e fico novamente estupefacto com outro detalhe precioso: as mesas são forradas com capas de revistas antigas. Enquanto vou lendo as manchetes de tempos que já lá vão, escolho o elenco deste almoço que promete ser tão diferente. Fiquei rendido ao camarão com azeitonas e ao bacalhau coberto com grão-de-bico. Para a próxima, as tapas com sabores portugueses e brasileiros não me escapam!
