We stumbled across Hand Go after visiting Clerigos Tower. It’s a small and modern take-away pizzeria that serves a variety of fresh thin-crust pizza, as well as crepes and salads. They apparently also offer gluten free options. I picked a slice of the shiitake mushroom pizza while my husband had the smoked salmon, argula and honey pizza. € 5 for two slices. It was delicious! I never would have thought to drizzle honey on my pizza, so I was skeptical when the girl working asked my husband if she could add it on, but oh my gosh it was amazing! The female employee spoke English and was so friendly she offered to help us out with any tips or questions we had about visiting Porto. My husband couldn’t stop thinking about that pizza for the rest of our trip and was sad he didn’t have the chance to go back. I’ve since promised that I’d try to recreate the pizza for him at home, but it still probably won’t be as memorable as the real thing.
