Really great experience. I’ve been diving for 25 years, my wife just got certified. We took dives on two days — one day we were the only people on the boat, the other there was a large party of snorkelers. On both days we were taken on two full dives and saw some of the most beautiful coral and sea life that I’ve ever seen. He took extra time with my wife when she had trouble with her equipment, and let us putter around on the reef at our own speed. Motoring around, Taz pointed out various things about the islands and local legends. Diving, he led the way with great routes and stopped to point out eels, turtles, etc that we likely wouldn’t have spotted. He’s not bombastic and loud; diving with him is like going out on the boat with a laid back friend who just loves being on the ocean. He and his wife run a great outfit, I’d rebook with them in a second.

This was my first snorkeling experience. I was really kind of scared of imagened monsters lurking under the dark sea waiting to get me. I was also worried that my plus size and bad knees would make it difficult for me. Ann was a very patient tour guide and teacher. She gave us a quick Snorkeling 101 class. She had a very calming effect on me. Still my plan was to get in the water and snorkle staight to the beach and park myself there so I could tell my dear hubby«I did it» now let me nap on beach. But when we got in the water I quickly was taken aback by the peacefull under waters and all the lovely colors around me. I never set foot on the beach that day. It was an experience of a lifetime. Thank you Ann & Tazz for the great adventure!

Todd and Taz were better than we could have possibly hoped for! My boyfriend and I completed our 4 training dives with Aquatic Adventures, and we couldn’t be happier. Not only were they both flexible with our individual needs, but they were entertaining as well. Todd was very patient and a great instructor. He went slowly with us for our first couple dives, and he made sure to point out the wildlife(i.e. stingrays, lobsters, eels, etc). Taz and Todd chose some great spots for diving, and I especially enjoyed Lobster Alley, which contained giant lobsters. Taz and Todd kept telling us that we were«part of the family» once we became certified divers, and that’s exactly how they treated us. After we finished our dives, they invited us to get pizza and drinks with them at Heather’s Pizza on the island. I am so glad we went with Aquatic Adventures, first of all because they were such welcoming, kind, fun people, and also because we spent half as much money as some other dive shops in Puerto Rico wanted to charge us.

Worst. Diving. Experience. Ever. I found Taz to be impatient, insulting, and more interested in hunting down lionfish than making sure his clients enjoyed themselves or, more importantly, were safe. I went out for two dives with Taz. I’m still a very new diver, and I explained to him that one of my ears needed extra time to clear during the descent. Because of this, and a problematic mask, it took me several attempts before I was down on the sea floor the first time. He was clearly out of patience by the time this happened. Then, thanks to him underweighting me(even though I told him I had worn more weight during all my other dives), I found myself on a runaway ascent to the surface halfway through the dive. Scariest experience of my life!!! And it was very dangerous too – I could have caused serious damage to my lungs. Taz tried to blame it on me, but later grudgingly acknowledged I probably should have been weighed down more. He never apologized though. On a side note, lunch was nothing to write home about. Ham and cheese sandwiches and chips. The bread was stale. If you value your health and safety: Stay away. Far away.

I went on a two dive trip with Taz and Todd last month. I had some anxiety about going because I hadn’t been diving in years, but Taz walked me through everything and really calmed my nerves. I even came back out that night for a night dive, which was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Very reasonable prices, which includes all gear and a filling lunch. I highly recommend anyone considering diving in Puerto Rico check these guys out.

I went out for two dives with Taz and Todd last week when I visited Culebra. They were recommended to me by the owner of the hostel/guesthouse I was staying and it was a great suggestion! The boat was full, but the dive spots were empty. I loved the first spot which was right in front of Culebrita, a small, uninhabited island. Plenty of time to dive and time for a swim to the island after! The second spot was an underwater reef wall, which was beautiful. Lunch was included, and all of that for just $ 95. If you don’t scuba dive; they take snorkelers too. Taz and Todd are very easy going, patient and flexible. My friend could not clear his ears and got part of his money back afterwards, which was a really friendly gesture.

Want to snorkel the most beautiful areas of isla culebra? Tazz is the to– go person! The owner of the guesthouse we were staying in recommended him and helped us book a tour a day before. For $ 50 per person(there was 2 of us) he took us to Carlos Rosario and off the coast of Luis pena! He explained how to use the snorkeling gear and showed us the best places to snorkel within the two locations! He feed some of the fish so they could get closer to us, and fed us sandwiches when we were done with our 4 hour trip! A major plus– he allowed me to sit right in front of his boat– I felt like America’s next top model on a private boat! :)

We took the scuba trip with aquatic adventures today in culebra. They were able to accommodate us at last minute. Not that we were not prepared or didn’t make or reservation in advance, we actually booked out scuba trip with culebra divers a month in advance. But on the day on the trip, culebra divers canceled our bookings without letting us know(will be writing another review for that). Luckily Taz from aquatic adventure rescued us. we initially booked for four people but one of us got sea sick during ferry ride and had to cancel. Taz was very flexible and took us three on the trip and didn’t charge for cancellation. It was a four and a half hour trip and costed us only $ 125 per person. Taz went through all the details slowly and made sure we understood everything. He was very friendly and showed great patience. He took extra time to make sure that everyone was comfortable before we started the scuba and he even held hand of one of our group member(she was little afraid in the beginning) through out the scuba dive. We went on two different dives, and he explained each dive before we started it. During the dives he pointed out various things to see and adjusted his pace to ours. I would highly recommend them for your scuba experience. If I ever go back to culebra I will make sure I will dive with Taz only.
