Was not impressed with this (as seen on Unilocal) 4 star kiosk. While the appetizer sampler was tasty with crispy fried cheese, cork sticks, meat-​filled mashed potato balls and meat-​filled plantains, the mofongo dishes were bathed in overly salty sauces, and the plantains were mushy and tasteless. Pleasant service and nice setting by the ocean (separated by a parking lot) but all 3 mofongo dishes my group ordered were barely edible– we ended up walking away after stomaching just a few bites.

The best meal I’ve ever had in Puerto Rico!.My wife & I were staying at the Wyndham nearby & were looking for true Puerto Rican food. We were seated right away. had the Pulpo app & the shrimp with a red sauce and avacado & my wife had the grouper in the butter sauce. WOW! Juicy, tasty, fresh & fast! The sauces were very tasty. As tourists, We were skeptical about going to the Kiosks, but were very happy we did, no problems, great friendly, informative staff. Fantastic! Go early if you want lobster, they were sold out when we got there. I will go back if I’m ever in the area again.

In Puerto Rico it seems like every restaurant is in the running for the best Mofongo. When in Luquillo, La Parrilla was our 2nd choice to dine for the night because the prices where a little bit higher. My boyfriend ordered the Steak and Mushroom mofongo and I ordered the Medallions. The Medallions were awesome but the Steak and Mushroom mofongo was really, really, REALLY awesome! Don’t let the prices scare you and go get this mofongo right now! They also make a killer mojito!

The kiosks are really cool. Yes, they look weird from the outside, but there are many great options. La Parrilla is one of best here. Parking can be a nightmare.
At La Parrilla the service and food are both as good as you get in Puerto Rico. And it’s still very affordable and a fun experience.

The food was only okay. We got the appetizer sampler and the fried cheese was a little cold. The fried pork had good flavor, but was a little dry. It took a while to get our check.

The food was very good. Their stuffed pineapple was incredibly delicious as was the octopus salad. They seated us promptly and food came out fairly fast. The wait staff was very helpful with recommendations. The one negative was the drinks-​they were so sweet and syrupy for everyone in our group. The Quatro leches desert was good if you like extra sweet deserts.

Had that Seafood Mofongo, oh sooooooo juicy and delicious. They have an extensive menu of seafood, local items, and american food for the tourists.
Some of the fish looked very good but I walked in with Mofongo on my mind already.
Prices are a little on tourist side, at least compared to the many other restaurants on this plaza.

Ridiculous food… Stop at this roadside kiosk amongst the others along the highway and ocean. Just a short drive from San Juan, the fresh seafood is well worth the trip. Pick out your favorite lobster and compliment it with one of their many options.

We followed the Unilocal rating here for lunch. Our waitress was very sweet. So far my experience with mofongo was not positive, but she told me they make it soft and smooth here. So I ordered one. It came beautiful and tasty, however the stuffed chicken was salty. When she heard that, she said I cannot eat too much salt (I told her my pregnancy), and she changed right away. It came out perfect. I am so happy!

The best lobster i have ever had in my life.
I thought, ok ok. market price for a 2 LB lobster, i am on vacation, so lets overpay.
We ordered one — 2 lb lobster to share, and the conch salad.
WOW.
Local catch. they run out daily, so go early if you want to make sure you get it.
Conch salad was fresh and non fishy. crisp and perfect.
Then the lobster, they were nice enough to split it onto two plates and let us share.
1 lb per person was enough.
the lobster was perfectly grilled.
I had so much meat.
We also had the quattro leches cake. WOW! So good too!
All in I was around 70 bucks for a lunch. but well worth every penny.

AMAZING!!! Food was great, fresh, delicious! Place is great if you like to visit restaurants with no noise, quiet, even private! You can visit this great place! My experience was wonderful, I went at 1PM to 3PM and I will visit again!

Maybe few people will find this place a bit pricey, my experience was $ 124 for a Mofongo with shrimp for my wife and a 2lbs lobster with rice for me, 2 piña coladas and of course, including tip but NO DESSERTS! So expect to spent about $ 150. It depends what you order, its normal pay more if you order lobster, if not, maybe with $ 100 you will eat great for two including desserts!
THEY BRANG TO TABLE A LOT OF FOOD! 5 stars, will visit again!!! OF COURSE! My wife and I are satisfied! They also bring a glass of water when you seat on table!

Good food. Had the lobster and bean croquetas which were so good. I had a grilled chicken with mofongo that was delicious. Drank it down with a nice piña colada which calmed my nerves for the bio bay tour. Had a nice ocean view in the back.

Went after a day at the beach … Was in the mood for lobster unfortunately they only only had lobsters in the 6 – 8 lbs range left. No problem !!! Lol !! Ended up getting a 6lb beauty that was stuffed with shrimp, lobster meat and fish and topped off with melted mozzarella cheese. My friends it was heaven !!! Came with rice, beans, salad and tostones. One of the best meals I’ve ever had! The service itself left was not top notch, however. There were 8 – 10 waiters n bus boys but wee still had a hard time getting drinks .it seems like instead of one waiter assigned to a table, they pretty much all help u. Very weird. Nevertheless my meal was so on point that I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars but the service was so lacking that I had to drop it down to 4 stars. Sorry

Highly recommended by my bestie – who is also a Unilocaler! La Parilla is a great dive next to Luquillo beach. The portions are HUGE. I had and avocado/​shrimp dish that came with all sorts of sides and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely go back if I was in the area again!
