Food delicious. I wanted to eat healthy so my daughter and I split the artisan salad and the ceviche and made a sort of seafood salad. On our second visit we ordered the same but I ordered a conch turnover(empanadilla). Great. Other people in my party ordered the fish. Beautifully presented and fresh. Service was friendly and efficient. The staff is bilingual and well trained. The parking down the street with the golf cart shuttle was quick. One day it was raining and they used a van instead. We liked it enough we ate there twice.

My boyfriend and I planned a tripped to Puerto Rico as a get away before returning back to summer classes. After being lost for 3 hours and starving we finally came across this restaurant and wanted to check it out. The food was very cheap, but oh my god! Was it so delicious! Yariza was our server and she was so sweet! I recommend getting the mahi skewers some beef empanadas and then shared the skirt steak which was so tender I could pull it apart. I’m in love and we both agreed to come back here for dinner every night for the remainder of our trip :)

The octopus ceviche is very flavorful and the tostones here are nice as well. My first time here, I asked for mojo with the tostones and the chef was happy to make some fresh with garlic and cilantrigo.

Favorite place in Rincon! We ate here 4 meals during our 5 day stay. They have something for everyone on the menu. Usually crowded but The wait is definitely worth it!

Stopped here for lunch while in Rincon based on all the positive Unilocal reviews. It’s a small space with all outdoor seating. Go for the tacos. both the fish and carnitas tacos were solid choices. The food was good, but I honestly expected more with all the 5-star reviews. I’d prob give this place closer to 3.5 stars. Tip: If you drive further down the street, they have their own parking lot and there’s also a public beach lot across the street from it(that’s where we parked). They offer a shuttle from the parking lot, but trust me it’s a pretty short walk.

We were here for lunch… And we’re back. We’ve eaten all over this side of the island and la cambija wins hands down. We had the beef burrito, delicious. My mom and sister had the wahu(sp?) and mahi mahi tacos!!. Mind blown. Great service. This is a destination.

I arrived(solo traveller) around 7:30 and it was packed! There was a 30-minute wait but, since I was alone, I pointed to a single chair at the bar and she led me right to it. I can see why people waited 30 minutes! It’s very small, the wait staff are excellent and the food. Oh, the food. The Grouper Fish Tacos were out of this the world. Hands down — the best I’ve ever had. And it was very inexpensive.($ 9) *My hosts, two local dudes, said they eat there almost every day.

Really tasty fish tacos/burritos. Affordable and fresh. The servers were really friendly and the wait was only ½ of what they said it would be. The outdoor seating is really nice and there’s always been a lot of festive, upbeat energy each time I’ve gone in. Really tasty pina coladas too! Definitely seems like a tourist spot vs a locals spot, but whatev. I’ll go back.

Excellent fish tacos! They give you your choice of grouper, mahi mahi, lemon shark or yellow fin tuna. Very fresh ingredients… Delicioso!

I absolutely enjoyed my meal at La Cambija and highly recommend it. The food is excellent, and service is superb. Park at their designated lot down the street and the restaurant van will pick/drop you off. The awning and cool Rincon breeze makes for a pleasant dining experience at Cambija’s.The waiter tells you the catch of the day and suggests some of his favorite menu items. We arrived during happy hour(5 – 7PM) and had rum punch and a few beers. They have all day happy hours too and if I recall correctly, $ 2 beers are part of that special. The fish tacos, sweet plantain pico de gallo, beans & rice, and pinchos were all great. Everything is fresh, full of flavor, and filling. My favorites were the sweet plantain pico de gallo and chicken pinchos. I’ve been thinking of it since and in fact, tried recreating it at home!

Lobster was amazing, fresh caught fish, tasty tacos, and funny bartenders. Try it all! Honorable mention for the drinks, they’re heavy on the liquor. I’ll suggest getting here between 5:30 and 6. It gets a little busy later on, so beat the rush. Final rating, 100%!!! Go here! Don’t believe this review? Look at trip advisor, 2015 winner of excellence. But please trust this Unilocal review. It’s good. Try it.

Fresh fish pinchos may change your life! Incredible! I ordered 2 and it was More than enough for me. My wife is a Vegetarian and had the house salad which she really liked. Drinks were strong, service was fast. Only downside were the pimps driving by with the bumping music. That’s apparently a custom here!

This place was 5 stars all the way. The waiter will tell you the freshest fish they have for the day. Get whatever they say! Come early because it is small and it gets busy. The fish for us was the tuna. Second best fish tacos I have ever had. The tuna was really amazing as a filet as well. The tuna was just to die for. All the fish Robert recommended was delicious! We got a bunch of pinchos — rainbow runner, mahi mahi, tuna. All of them were cooked perfectly. We started with the ceviche which was the only so-so. The fish was great but I am not into the sweet and sour sauce they like to put on fish here. If you want traditional ceviche, this is not it. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about those tacos so went back tonight. No more tuna, so sad, but that tells you how fresh it was! We got the rainbow runner again and it was delicious. Definitely spend the extra 25 cents for the house-made hot sauce if you’re into that! Also, try and take advantage of the HH or drink specials. For us it was rum mixed with whatever for $ 2.50. None of us are big rum fans but with the fresh watermelon juice it was a score!

We ate here our first night in Rincon and we can’t stop talking about it. Seriously, the food was amazing. You have to park a little ways down the street but they actually have a van shuttle that will take you if you can’t do the walk.(Really it’s like ¼ mile, if that, along the beach) We had a great informative server who directed us towards the right things. Starting off, I ordered a fresh watermelon mojito and we picked the lionfish empanada and grouper pinchos. One thing that stood out about this place was the unique items on the menu– lionfish, shark, stingray, etc. As a meal, I got another order of the grouper pinchos(because they were so good. The sauce served with them is this creamy, garlicky, perfection) and I also ordered the artisan salad. Soooo, that salad was quite possibly the best salad I’ve had in my life. Fried shallots, grilled tomatoes, roasted peppers, feta cheese, mixed greens and this insane smoked olive oil vinaigrette. I’ve been trying to figure out what the flavors were so I can recreate it but so far I’m only guessing fresh ginger and garlic. I ate the entire thing and pretty much licked the bowl. My other half went with the server’s recommendation and ordered the fish tacos made with rainbow runner. Neither of us had heard of the fish before but the server didn’t hesitate when he asked what fish was recommended and it was delicious. If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t it but if you’re looking for a killer meal at a great price– this is your spot.(Seriously, the prices are amazing. Less than $ 50 for our meal)

Started with the Stingray Empanadilla, OMG it was amazingly awesome, I ordered another one when I was done with the first one. Then I ordered the Fish Tacos & a Grooper and Mahi-Mahi Pincho… Not a big fan of the Grooper, but the tacos and Mahi-Mahi, to die for… The customer service, by far I’ve seen in the entire island(I live here)… The staff is very friendly and are always paying attention and removing any unused items from the table…

Food/Drinks: — Lion Fish Empanada: Lion fish turn over. The fish was tender and flavorful. 4⁄5 — Shark Tacos: 2 shark tacos topped with greens, fried onions, and tomatoes. The tacos were flavorless and the shark was dry and chewy. I was very disappointed. 1⁄5 — Chicken Wings: The wings were tasty. The marinade was good and flavorful. I would have liked the wings a little more crispy. 3.5÷5 — Watermelon & Passion Fruit Mojito: Refreshingly good. 4⁄5 Service: This place was packed on a Sunday night. We had to park a block away in a sketch neighborhood. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was friendly. Final Thoughts: I was expecting more since this place had high ratings. It was okay at best.
