Love Jen’s! We use her for catering as well as our own breakfast and lunch! Can’t beat the Veggie burger(I’m not a vegetarian!) and she makes a mean Rum Cake! Jens put her love and heart and soul into this place and you can really tell! It shows in her loyal customers!

Great friendly casual dining spot. Excellent generous refreshing cocktails. The Moscow mule was very tasty. We shared the«da bomb» fries for a table of four and they were delicious. Fun quick bite with very friendly staff.

Upon our arrival to St. Thomas we went straight to Jen’s for some breakfast around 8am. Place was still getting open. We were greeted by who I can only now assume was Party Marty because of all the Unilocal mentions and how helpful he was. We waited a couple of minutes for him to get ready and after we placed our orders we sat down in the cozy restaurant. We were pointed out to a self-service hot beverage bar as well as drink cooler with tons of juices, sodas and bottled water. While we waited for our food Party Marty gave us some maps and information about the island such as grocery store, pharmacy and some other tips to make our weekend stay more comfortable. He is such a friendly guy. When our meals arrived they were good portions, my ham, egg and cheese sandwich on French bread was massive. Couldn’t finish it all. Marty made sure we had all the possible condiments in the world you would want for breakfast. I kind of wanted to try their house made vinaigrette but I was too chicken to try it on my breakfast. I would’ve definitely tried it had we visited again for lunch at some point during our stay. You should definitely give this spot a try if you don’t want to eat at your hotel in the morning. The service was fantastic and that’s why I gave Jen’s a 5th star.

Avoid– rude and disrespectful customer service from the bartender. I would have him fired if I could. My wife and I ordered some drinks here and the bartender treated us very rudely. I politely asked him whether they accept credit cards there and he suddenly snapped at us and said«Don’t make me work so hard. This is an island.» What kind of response was that? And then my wife tried to be friendly and say we were from Washington, DC — he said that, «I can tell that you people are.» And then I tried to make good conversation by asking him about the local culture, and he told me to talk to someone else. No thank you, no hello — nothing. I am very disappointed and you can find better customer service, food and drink in many other places.

Everything was delicious. Love hidden gems, thanks to Unilocal or else we wouldn’t have found this place. Conch fritters –pretty good, compared to all the fritters ive had Lobster & shrimp quesadilla –it was good but needs more lobster. There was only tiny lobster bits. Service was good. I’d come back when I’m in town visiting again.

Literally worst dining experience of my life. I’m a local, not a tourist. I don’t care if I come across them again because I won’t be embarrassed for being honest. Their service was disrespectful, disgusting and the owner, Jen, was more interested in sneaking to the back for a cigarette than serving USVI customers and making a good name for the island. I recommend either Jen quits or re-evaluates her life’s purpose. She’s not only dragging down her employees, she’s dragging down the expectations of tourists and those looking to enjoy the USVI. And I swear to God this isn’t from an employee, but from a customer that simply ordered their Veggie Omelette this morning.

Great burger and fries! Very unexpectedly good! Great bun and really good fries. Friendly servers and colorful atmosphere. Watch out though — pretty expensive for burgers!

Well, I don’t think this was just an off day as many people were complaining and one stormed out. Very rude owner or manager as he was just insulting and had no clue. Wouldn’t let us have regular tap water so we had to buy bottled. I planned on buying some drinks but not after that. Food was just very bad and I just had a simple burger. Seemed almost boiled and just poor quality. Service was just horrible and even the owner guy said she was bad and made excuses. many great options out there and this was not one of them!

Let me start by saying the food was ok, we ordered fried red snapper and chicken roti, NOTHINGTOOSPECTACULAR compared to other restaurants on the island. Our waiter was very nice but the waitress who’s from Vegas was not. After waiting for a while, my fiancé asked as she walked by if she was gonna take our orders and with an attitude she said«Yes, I can». After she finished taking the orders, the waiter came by and she told him(right in front of us) «I just took their orders and they already said the service here sucks». Thanks for putting words in our mouths. Shortly after she offered me some M&M, I politely declined but she kept insisting so I took one. She kept talking to us, trying to be friendly so we just politely replied to her, we weren’t being rude in anyway. However, she later said to the customer who was sitting next to us that we were being cranky and did not take her candies. SHECALLEDUS «CRANKY»! What kind of waitress does that? In front of the customers? Who cares about her candies? If I wanted some darn M&M I would’ve just bought some. We just want to have our meal in peace without her yapping about us to someone else? UNPROFESSIONAL! AND That wasn’t even the end. Upon leaving the restaurant, our waiter wished us a good time when going back home to Jersey, she laughed and rolled her eyes at us. RUDE! At this point I became very unhappy, I went back to give them a piece of my mind. She apologized insincerely, told me that«don’t let me ruin your day» sarcastically. No, lady you would never be able to. Needless to say, we will never come back. It would’ve been just fine if she wasn’t there. WORST experience on St. Thomas!

It is a perfect local family run place to go to when on a vacation. The food was yummy. We had the veggie roti, jerk chicken and pasta. Go for it.

The turkey burger was very good but the chicken sandwich we had was rubbery and over cooked. The deli closed when we went and they couldn’t make salads for lunch.

Good place for lunch to enjoy some island seafood. Great sandwiches and homemade sides. Jen the owner needs to lighten up and get on island time.

Had the shrimp and lobster quesadilla. It was so good I made yummy noises the whole time I was eating it. Then to top that off had a piece of key lime pie. Um… HOLYCRAP!!!

Good food and friendly staff. although not authentic Caribbean, it had much of the flavor. Rum cake was excellent. We drink water, and they insisted we had to drink bottled water. We had been on the island for a week and this was the only place that said that. Located close to the Port so I am sure they get lots of ship traffic.

Nice food and very welcoming service from a guy who seemed to be the owner. He offered drinks, WiFi password and even asked me to stay on the premesis outside lounge for a smoke. The menu has the standard island items like burger, salads and wraps. Same high prices like any other place but the food surprised for the better. The twist came at the end when the guy wouldn’t let us finish and had a panic attack over the bill. DUDE, let your guests finish up.

I found this local restaurant via Unilocal and the staff and food was excellent! I ordered the grilled mahi platter along with vegetables and rice with black beans. I will be back before I leave the island. It was that good!!!

It would be a shame not to start by mentioning the friendly staff and great service. Someone will come to the table to explain the menu and suggest dishes, but not the way most places do. They actually try to get to know you and make you feel at home. This would be a great touch for a local place off the beaten path, but this place is frequented by cruise ship passengers. Sits north of Emancipation Gardens, has a feel of a local coffee shop when you walk in. The menu has a wide selection, including some dishes that you won’t find other places. Conch chowder was good, even served as a good hangover cure. Conch is similar to clam, if you have never tried it, bigger pieces and chewy. Jerk chicken wrap was good but not as spicy as I would like for a jerk item. Still just for a chicken wrap it was really good. Served with plantains that were the perfect side. Wish we had the chance to try some other dishes, but with so little time and so many choices we only ate here once.

I loved this place! I actually found it on Unilocal and had to go when we went into town. I know its just a lunch spot but the food was great. The service was excellent as well… Marty. I have a little place in my heart because Marty told us that Jen is originally from Evanston! YAY to the Chicagoland people! We had the conch fritters… so good and a fresh mango salsa to dip! YUMMY! Reminded me of when I was in Key West. Next up, Jerk Chicken and the Lobster and Shrimp quesadillas. The quesadillas were fantastic! YUM! the jerk chicken was good, but almost tasted like a caesar chicken wrap to me. Lets talk about price. On the island, everything is ridiculous… but Jen’s was cheap and good! YAY~!
