The bad reviews of this place are a little surprisingly and I completely disagree. This was our first stop after getting off the cruise ship and not only was the coffee good, but the service was great! The guys behind the bar were very helpful with our coffee choices and with letting us know what is best to do while we’re here. I would definitely come back!!!

Bad ASS coffee rocks! Sunday morning, having coffee w/the best friend. This is a chill fun coffee shop, offering hot, cold, blended coffee. Muffins, bagels, soda, juice, water. They’ll toast bagels & food. The two cool guys working on Sunday morning around 10am were super friendly & helpful. They have a huge menu w/so many options. Free wifi! What’s not cool about that. My quite sure why the low reviews, you can’t please everyone. But I do kno that my experience was great!

Had working wifi, a good mango smoothie, and plenty of seating. They don’t accept Amex but take anything else.

Coffee was alright. Service was just terrible. Upon getting to the counter, I asked server what I could get in a «frozen» version… to which he replied«anything.» I asked for a specialty coffee and he lazily pointed to a dispenser behind him that very clearly offered two frozen drink options, as he exaggeratedly exhaled(and yet said nothing). Uhhhh, okay. Odd exchange. Not sure what the attitude is about. Pastries in the display looked dry and ho-hum. Drink took a bit longer to get to me than it should’ve considered it was pre-mixed. It tasted fine, albeit a bit too sweet. The place was fine, seeing as we wanted a little bit of a caffeine jolt before we commenced with the rest of our day, but if you’re looking for a quality breakfast or coffee break, this place isn’t it.

Would give no stars if it was an option. Service was horrible, the staff was disrespectful, and the coffee wasn’t good at all. Don’t waste your time here just go to Barefoot Buddha. Guy behind counter has no respect for the armed services.

To the clown behind the counter! Obviously you don’t know there are 5 branches of the Armed Services. Clearly the U.S. Coast Guard falls under one of them! Before you stick your foot in your mouth you need to think about those who give you the opportunity/freedom to be a shitty barista. Your vibes are horrible and your coffee is shittier! I’ll take my money to Barefoot Buddha!

Bad Ass has multiple locations around the country. I’ve been to this one a number of times, when I’m in St. Thomas. It has a good locals vibe to it despite bing a stones throw from the cruise ships and in the upscale mall right behind Yacht Haven. They use frozen coffee instead of ice cubes. A nice touch to keep your iced coffee or latte from getting watered down in the Carribean heat. Much if the bakery looks and tastes house made — a plus from my perspective. If you are in the port near Yacht Haven, check this place out.

Its mehh its so so and its defiantly not BAREFOOTBUDDHA! This place is crazy expensive their pasteries that are in the display cabinet has mold on it. I told the young lady at the counter and she just left it. The lattes where watery and expensive. The frozen coffees where super watered down! Please i beg u go to Barefoot Buddha across the street or sort of close once u leave the gates its across the street. The pastries are fresh the coffees are strong and plenty for alot less. Go and check it out u will be plesently surprised. I promise!

This places gets four stars for serving great coffee. The women behind the counter, Jamie and Katrina might be the friendliest and most efficacious workers on island. The free wifi is usually fast. That said, Paul, the owner of this franchise, brings the whole place down. He is rude to all customers, even those who come in daily. He abuses his employees verbally. It can be embarassing to be in line when he lets loose on somebody.

I got a latte here and it was terrible; very syrupy! My husband got a regular coffee and said it was«OK»

The staff is super friendly and nice. The location is cute The coffee however was pretty subpar– ordered two lattes, both of which were burnt and bitter. Got the magic bar, which was a bit too sweet but okay. The feta + spinach croissant was pretty bad and definitely overpriced. Overall, not worth the effort for the lack of quality coffee, which is what they’re supposed to be all about.

Wow. Loved the vanilla lattes here and we are Starbucks addicts. Great atmosphere and great coffee. What else do you need? Of course the air conditioning is also nice.

Definitely not a bad place to go! We loved the service, atmosphere, and the people were just awesome. They have tasty delicious java, completely different from Starbucks but still so good! They have baked goods like carrot cake, and muffins… But the one that caught my eye: RED. VELVET. MUFFIN. I’ll just let that sink in for a bit… And the best part, it has chocolate CHUNKS in it. Holy mother of god! I would give it 5 stars but the fact that sometimes they do use instant coffee mix kinda makes me feel weird but as long as you don’t get anything frozen, you’ll steer clear from that! Another plus point, the don’t put ice in your iced drink, they put ICEDCOFFEE. Finally, a brilliant thought put into action!

Great iced coffee… Kinda pricey but that’s to be expected right by the yachts! They use coffee ice cubes so it doesn’t get watered down!

Decent coffee, but not a fan of pre-mixed, already made frozen coffee drinks. Especially for the price they ask.

Decent coffee but as other reviewers have mentioned its not the best service. Being on the island for a week, I got used to businesses being very happy you were there. I didn’t get that feeling here. They seem annoyed with your business.

It was o.k. Its hard to find a decent and inexpensive spot for something simple as coffee on the island. I like to make my own coffee with the standard drip method. I have a filter at home but I didnt bring it to STT with me from NYC. Its not something to die for, its ok.

Hands down the best coffee joint I’ve ever been to! Starbucks, Esparks and all the local favs of NYC do not touch Bad Ass concoctions! A local friend turned me on to this place when I stated I needed a frappé from starbucks. I love walking around the yacht haven grande and this place is a must have for me. Surprisingly this place isn’t on Unilocal!Apparently Bad Ass is a chain from Hawaii, using all their beans from Kona. Great island décor with the modern coffee shop amenities of free wifi, flat screen TV and comfy seating. They have delicious unique menu of coffee mixes served any way you want –frozen blended, iced, or hot. When my vaca is over I’ll properly review! Quick Tip: my fav is the monkey mocha frozen blended!
