Well located next to Bank station. Alway have lots of fresh fruit and veg. Good selection of general groceries with the obvious limitations due to the size.
The staff is friendly just not always around. That said it is probably the most busy shop I’ve ever been to!

It’s a Tesco, its big for a Metro and now thinking about it, I think I have been here mid-​night out for pre/​post refuelling so convenience factor gives it the 4 stars.
If I worked close by I would probably shop here after work to make dinner, as well as maybe get lunch (I know, the sad City sandwich *sigh*), but on the plus side, it has plenty of choice for the usual office b’day junk food.
Basically, it’s a Tesco: unexciting but big on variety and choice.

Really handy for those working in the area. It a really big tesct so don’t let the Metro make you think otherwise. It has a huge variety of lunchtime related foods but also general items so you could do your weekely shop here. Very busy at lunch but there are loads of tills.

Hallelujah! My prayers have been answered. No longer must I walk over to Smithfiled market to get my £2 meal deal. I can just walk up the road. Since this place opened it has been super busy during lunch. I was highly recommend stopping by in the morning as the lines tend to not be that long. But don’t fret, if you are caught in the seemingly unending lunch queue, the cashiers move very fast.
