As the name implies, Health Rack is a small chain that specialises in health supplements, pills and potions. A third of the stock seems to consists of vitamins, minerals and essential oils whilst the other two thirds consist of hundreds of different slimming aids, fat burners and body building products. There’s also a small selection of aromatherapy oils, remedies and creams like Arnica, Tea Tree and Witch Hazel.
I’ve no idea why but for some reason, every other bottle I looked at in the store had a comedy title. We’re talking Slim Mint, Potency Wood Plus and the bizarre Creatine Explode!

Calling all health junkies… this Health Rack is handily situated in the centre of Bootle’s Strand Shopping Centre, so you can pick up your cod liver capsules at the same time as popping into nearby Argos or Gamestation (amongst other stores).
The feel of this particular store is pretty clever, it’s divided into sections with cabinets that kind of stick-​out in a medicinal manner. So whether you’re looking for weight loss help, dried fruits and nuts, protein or omega tablets, you can find pretty much everything in here very easily.
Staff are friendly and relatively knowledgable. Prices are around the same as most other major health food stores.
