The Body Shop is a well established brand and this store has been here for many years. It is a small store but it is bright, airy, clean and well organised. They stock a big range of perfume, bath oil, shower gel, bubble bath, face packs, scrubs, hair dyes, shampoo, conditioners, soaps, make up and much more. The packaging is simple and classy and the products are available in all different sizes. There are many different scents that the products can be bought in. Some of them are a bit too fruity and strong such as the Dewberry and White Musk items. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their stock. They are happy to help and advise.

As with all Body Shops, they do tend to smell of fragrance so obviously if you are allergic to them or like me, just hate the aroma then you’re best avoding here as it’s no exception. There is definitely no escaping the smell of bath soaps or whatever else there may be amongst their colourful offerings. I don’t mind citrus smells, it’s more the perfume type that makes me sneeze! This branch always seems to have a member of staff or two standing right by the entrance that is offering some sort of promotion, accompanied by a tiny desk of samples. It does make me feel that they are trying hard to pull customers in; at the same time, it also makes me feel I’m not going to be left alone once I step into the shop! Therefore, it turns the shopping trip into a bit of an ordeal. Having said that, staff inevitably greet you with a smile and kindly ask if you need any assistance. If you are eager to buy luxury bubble baths, l’eau de toilette or body moisturiser that come in all flavours and varieties, then The Body Shop at Bold Street offers a delightful selection at moderate prices.

Every time I walk into ‘The Body Shop’, the staff there practically throw free stuff at me. Not that I mind of course, I’ve just come to the conclusion that I must have a very needy face. Or just the type of skin type which is crying out for deep cleansing products. Thankfully for The Body Shop(and for my poor skin), I’m a huge fan of their products. I got hooked onto their Dewberry perfume and Black Cherry bubble bath at a young age and haven’t really ever been able to quit the habit. As I’ve grown older, I’ve also become remarkably fond of their Vanilla perfume oil(a delicious scent which lingers on your skin all day), their ‘Love Etc’ perfume and their Tea Tree range of products(no home should be without them!) What I like best about The Body Shop though is how friendly their staff are. They always go out of their way to show you the right kind of products for your skin type, as well as throw a few sneaky deals your way. I’ve never ever walked out of this place empty handed. The Body Shop may be competing with the Lush’s of this world, but there’s no reason why you can’t love the pair of them. I know for the fact that The Body Shop will always hold a very special place in my heart — and not just because of the free goodies!

Smelly? Yes the body shop certainly is! Infact a new name for this bathbomb of a shop in Bold Street could be ‘Selly Smelly’ because you will certainly be sold on the contents of this emporium from a distance up the street. The dream of ‘perfect skin’ which Lloyd Cole and the Commotions sang so eloquently about is the firm basis for this Bold Street business. There is as you would expect every form of oil and essence to make your skin lovely and your bathtime a perfect treat! Indeed maybe the local B and Q, Rapid Hardware or any other bathstores should do the deal of the century and start to promote this bodyshop as this smelly heaven is already doing more to singlehandedly sell baths and showers than their own salesforce! My dearly beloved is a particular fan of the ‘body butter’ a product which by its very name conjures up an image of richness and opulence. The current flavour of choice is Mango but this has only just replaced Neroli and Jasmin which I am reliably informed is every bit as good as the finest french perfume. The staff are brill and the fairtrade ethos can really help your feelgood factor when you treat yourself or make that essential purchase for a loved one.

Compared with those extravagant cosmetics, one of TBS’s main advantages lies in the relatively low price and the excellent quality of its products. In Asia, they are known as open-shelf cosmetics or supermarket products, which mean that they are priced reasonably so that everyone can afford them. Moreover, high-quality is also a crucial aspect of the products. TBS’s Elderflower Eye Gel is one of the hottest products sold on the Chinese Internet market. Thousands of consumers buy it regularly and sing praise of its overall effectiveness. The perfect combination of price and quality makes TBS a well-known brand of high reputation all over the world.

I adore they Body shop it does some absolutely beautiful beauty products the scents are totally amazing and very gentle on the skin. I would totally recommend the Coconut Body Butter, Almond Nail & Cuticle Treatment and Strawberry Body Polish. these are things i always have at home and use regularly. The other thing i love about the body shop is the home range they are gorgeous for Christmas i got given a burner set with oils from the body shop and even if they are not lit you can still smell the oil all the time and it just makes my home smell devine. This store is fairly small like most body shops tend to be but its well laid out and products are put in sections so they are easy to find.
