Tony’s Of Overheads Hairdresser

Tony’s is a local hair and beauty salon in the Wavertree area which seems to have ideas above its station. The outside of this establishment doesn’t look great and the inside décor is far from impressive also.
The staff here are friendly enough but they seem to have a sense of self importance which does not really match the surroundings that this salon is in. In essence this is the kind of place you can find in local communities all over the country yet Tony’s seems to think it is better than the rest without really doing much to back up the point.
The prices here are a little above average for a service which is not and the waiting times can be extensive.
If this was a simple and unpretentious hairdresser which claimed to be simply that, then it would be fine but my only problem is that Tony’s thinks it is so much more.
One word best describes Tony’s pretentious.
