Archway Market

A cute little market that takes place bi-​weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays on the plaza in front of the Budgens in on Upper Holloway Road in Archway. Don’t expect to much from this market, but I do like it very much because they offer the most basic stuff and that they do in good quality.
I especially like the bread stall, which offers fantastic breads from a bakery called Celtic Bakers. (Their bakery is in an Industrial Estate near Wood Green). Their breads are really fantastic and especially for a picky German, who’s used to good bread, they offer really nice and tasty loaves. (My test is always to weigh a loaf before buying it — if it’s heavy enough (meaning, it’s not too airy, but moist & dense… just the way I like it.)
