Mmmm coffee. You’re spoilt for choice in this area for caffeinated products so I say: don’t discriminate, take turns and spread your coffee needs out. Which is how I found this place as it wasn’t as busy as it’s neighbouring bakery/coffee shop. I get nervous choosing the emptier place(this one) but the coffee was great and gave me the confidence to follow through with breaky. In fact, seeing other’s breakfasts come out definitely has inspired me to come back again. And probably again. I had salmon with avocado and eggs on some seriously good sour dough. There was some very delicious looking mushrooms on toast and I was very tempted by the lunch menu which had some healthy sounding comfort foods and an interesting taco thing on it as a special. If you’re a cake fan, you’re in luck. This place was caked out. I went into a blissful state after I had a little try of some sort of lemony, fluffy soft, moist, heaven in a mouth cake thing. And I don’t even like cake. Allegedly. Seems pretty family friendly although was a pretty young 25 – 35 year old crowd when I was there. Got a good vibe off the staff too– they seemed to all enjoy being there(IMPORTANT because good vibes are infectious). Won’t break the bank either.

Disclaimer: I didn’t have coffee. I had their veggie breakfast and a carrot+orange+ginger juice. Both were good, although the water from the tomatoes was all over the plate and it didn’t look nice(nor they tasted nice). Good break, tasty eggs and avocados, decent mushrooms, yummy feta. Served in a pleasing way on really nice plates. I could be back, but then again there are so many other similar places on that street(right next to each other — I wonder why!) that I might try a few others first.

Nice little coffee shop by London Fields station– does delicious cakes and coffees– also v good smoothies and milkshakes. Lots of seats inside and a small terrace. Menu isn’t huge-but they do lunches, had homemade chorizo baked beans on toast, which came on chunky sourdough bread– def worth the approx £7 it cost. Less pretentious than a lot of coffee places in Hipster-ville… worth a look in :)

If you like waiting for 20 minutes only to have to leave because they forgot about your takeaway coffee that you originally ordered, then you’ll love this place. Did buy a cookie for the wait; and at 80p, it was two mouthfuls of pure joy.

Got a fresh juice(£3) and was a happy customer. The portion was a decent sized cup… not the tiny ones where you get 3 sips and done type of size. Also had the nutella/banana cake. Portion was nice too. Was fluffy, moist, and tasty. So, all in all, good product and didn’t feel ripped off! I’ll be back to try out the coffee and food. £5 min for credit cards.
