Had an exceptional birthday dinner here. The place was packed, you absolutely must book early if you want a seat on the weekend. The service was still excellent even though they were full. The cocktail list is outstanding, if a bit overpriced. All of the dishes we tried were truly haute couture on a plate. Try the banana parfait for dessert, delicious!

Had a wonderful dinner here while visiting London. The food is rich so avoid too many sides unless you are really hungry. We ordered the veal chop and seabass. Both excellent. Service was very good, helpful, friendly and accommodating. Definitely a place to go for an excellent meal while in London where there are so many choices.

I can’t say enough about Corrigan’s. I specifically was looking for Dover Sole which was my dad’s favorite when we lived in London 50 years ago, and they had Dover Sole which was wonderful. But the restaurant is so much more. The service is perfect in a way which you seldom see today. The food was presented with perfection and tasted delicious. The menu has something for everyone. The décor is refined. I will put this on our regular visits when in London.

Nothing much, ambience was nice, service was poor, food quality was not exceptional, portion size is small, wine list was superb, overall a wasted night.

Good restaurant if you like stuffy wannabe’s and being screwed over. Excessively priced wine… bottles well over £100 I have bought regularly in France for around 28 Euros. Food average… setting average for Mayfair. Overrated Mr Corrigan.

My partner and my friend and I went to Corrigan’s rather at the spur of the moment while we were walking around London. It was a Sunday night, so they had availability and we popped in. My partner had read about it online as one of the best new restaurants in London, so we decided to give it a try. Overall, I feel that it somewhat failed at being truly great while still providing some delicious offerings. Even before I start the review, I will say that I’m rating Corrigan’s three stars not because it is an average«A-OK» restaurant among the totality of restaurants in London, but rather I’m judging it based on what it is trying to be, basically a Michelin one-star restaurant. And with that criteria in mind, I would say it is not worthy of a Michelin star and has some specific points of failure in regard to that. The welcome was cordial, and I personally really liked the atmosphere. It was not too stuffy for an establishment like this, with lots of lights and darker colors. I do think that people are seated very close together at this restaurant, which is not a romantic setting, that’s for sure. The sommelier here was French and very stuffy. The wine list at this restaurant is not very approachable, with most over £100. I personally felt that she came off as haughty when my partner said that a £155 bottle was not in the price range he was looking for. He finally settled on a glass of wine, but he instead order a carafe of two glasses. When they only brought a glass of wine out with his entrée, he told them that he actually ordered a carafe. So they dutifully brought him a carafe, but them proceed to charge him for all three glasses. That was a mistake of the server, with one hand not knowing what the other hand was doing with regard to their customers. I was not a fan of the sommelier, and then halfway through dinner, she apologized for being a bit gruff because she said she was having a bad day. When someone at a restaurant like this apologizes unsolicitously, you know it must’ve been bad. The cocktail list was equally unimaginative. They had one or two original cocktails, but that’s it. What’s the point of having a «cocktail list» if I can have a drink or a cocktail that people would order by name anyway? The food itself was very hit-or-miss. I ordered the crab linguine, which I really liked. My friend had the whole Dover sole bone-in, and it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy on top and the bone came out very easily. The fish was cooked perfectly, and there were absolutely no faults with dish. For £35, that’s a very good option. On the other hand, the dish I ordered for was a complete failure. They had a special of wood pigeon with foie gras, and because we just been in the countryside, I ordered that to see what it tasted like. The plating and presentation was a bit messy, since the components were basically all the thing color — dark brown. There was a generous portion of foie gras on a crostini, and of course that was delicious. However, once I started eating the portion of wood pigeon, I found out one… not two… but three shot pellets in the pigeon. One is a bad but acceptable, two is pretty bad, and with three, I just sent the dish back half-eaten. Not being able to bite down on your food for fear of biting down on shot is not appetizing and not good. The manager came around to apologize for the mishap, and offered to get me another entrée. This point, two hours into the meal, I didn’t want to have to wait another 30 minutes to cook a fish entrée. I just told him we would have the cheese course and it would be fine. I will say that the cheese course was delicious. I will say that when someone has to send the dish back because it legitimately was inedible, you go out of your way to take care of that patron. After cheese was served, we literally were deserted. We wanted some port with my cheese, but we never saw a menu and I’m not going to constantly be flagging a server down. Now, I’m not talking about getting free stuff because of their mistake, I’m more talking about offering drinks with cheese, which is not some crazy notion. I think this is where I would give the lowest marks to this restaurant. They were not understaffed or anything, because they were only four tables that were being served. You could see them trying, but it it just not up to snuff compared with real Michelin-starred restaurants. So while I would probably give the food 3.4 or so, they would get under three stars for service throughout the course of the meal. Maybe that is just the British way of service, I do not know, but for my American sensibilities, it was not good. For its price point, I don’t think that I would recommend Corrigan’s. There are a lot of new and expensive restaurants to try in London, but I don’t think this should be on your list. Don’t get me wrong, they have some really good food and the sole was amazing, but other than that, there was nothing special or memorable.

Super restaurant, very good lunch. This was a meal to really remember, the staff were terrific. We were seated and made to feel like we were royalty. Delicious breads, spanking fresh fish, wonderful company ;) lovely white wine, can’t recommend this place enough.

This is a great place to come if you’re looking to impress a date or are celebrating an anniversary. The service is amazing. I was even greeted by the main chef upon my arrival. The food is absolutely delicious. I loved the monkfish main that I had as well as the pumpkin ravioli for a starter. The dessert was alright. It was tasty but nothing spectacular. Overall, I would recommend Corrigan’s if you’re looking to have a nice posh dinner.

Upon arriving, the staff gave us a welcome greeting and the excellent service continued till the end. The food was terrific and the sommelier was very helpful. The atmosphere was quiet and that was a nice way to get away from all the noise in busy London and have a nice pleasant and memorable dinner. I would highly recommend Corrigan’s and would definitely come back.

Outstanding food, wonderfully inventive, and very well done. Simply the best dining experience I’ve had in London yet. The place had an unusual and exquisite décor, with reflective tile on the walls, giving a sleek, modern look. The food was modern British, with an occasional nod to other cuisines, all expertly combined. I would definitely come back here again.

Wonderful swanky restaurant with world class service and a menu that belies every bad joke made about British cuisine. The desserts were wonderful, but I had an amazing lemon tart instead of the even more amazing brownie. The night I was there. Perfect for anyone who wants to show a guest an incredible dining event.

It’s very good. Both the food and the atmosphere are a bit more posh than both St John and Hereford Road(which could be a good or a bad thing). I personally like more casual places, like Hereford Road or pretty much anything in California. Food was decent and price wasn’t outrageous — I guess the missing star just comes from the fact that the food wasn’t memorable enough. Great, but not perfect.

had an really pleasant working lunch here. service was a little too attentive at times, but staff were very polite and food and drinks were well served. We selected from the market menu which was very good value and we all found something to our taste from the choice on offer. The a la carte is much more expensive. I had brocolli veluete, followed by fish and then dessert of crème brûlée. All were well accomplished in both presentation and flavour. Portions were sufficiently small so that I could also manage to taste the petit fours served with coffee which were truly scrumptious. i’d definitely recommend for client or personal get togethers and will hopefully be returning soon.

This restaurant offers true well-done delicious British food. They take all the staples of British cuisine and add a new kick to it like the, game suet pudding with mashed carrot, or the eel risotto. This place offers a creative edge in every dish. The setting is quite something as well. The restaurant is inside a lovely 20s art deco room with lodge like elements, that takes you on a Great Gatsby land with the coziness of a lodge. It is one of the best places, and I would not say that is super expensive. Its definitely not the cheapest, but one well worth visiting.

Restaurant run by Irish Chef Richard Corrigan(Lindsay House, Bentley’s). The focus is I suppose nouveau-Irish spins on game and seafood. I must say it really was difficult making a decision as the menu suffers no lack of variety. We knocked down some oysters and champagne which were spot on. I had a grilled foie gras starter which was luscious. Most of us had seafood mains which were well turned out. One comrade had a beef filet as well. We all thought the portions could have been just a bit bigger but then again we’re mostly a bunch of meat and potatos guys. Desserts were good, wine list varied but not particularly cheap. Cheese course was outstanding. Without tip it was GBP400 for four guys on expenses trying their best to provoke the onset of gout. That was with a dozen oysters with champagne, four starters, four mains, four desserts, and a cheese tray. Service was also very good. No qualms with this place, would gladly go back.
